Yes, I thought great QBs you want to keep around usually pass for around 140 a game and like to fumble. I've never heard of production like this

i heard passing for more than 200 yards a game is a sign that a qb is terrible ...checkdown passes are really the hardest passes to complete only done by the best lol.   seriously though as a rookie lower draft pic on a bad team he is arguably better than 3rd year bryce

I would love for them to beat Tampa this week and then us beat them next week. I do feel that we will take this game more seriously this time considering last time and how much that loss hurt us.

They have to take it seriously if they hope to make the playoffs. They are going to get everyone's best from here on out. No tram is going to over look or lay down for them. They better bring it. Its time to nut up or shut up.

Extrapolated across a 17 game season: 20.4 tds, 12.75 picks with 68 percent completion and 235 ypg. He’s also 26 years old, has minimal nfl tape and this is a 4 game sample.

These are the stats you’re fawning over? They’re ironically Bryce-like. Guess the ypg is the big one (Bryce is like 170-180 ypg). In our game, Jaycee fell down twice. On the long touchdown, was a pretty clear push but yea poo happens.

I admittedly have not watched his other three starts so look forward from insight from those who have. I seriously doubt most in any of these threads are tracking the 2-10 saints in their free time.

Are we now celebrating the mediocrity of Saints second rounders?

We'll be better against him next week. Huddlers sucking off other teams Qbs are crazy on  here.

After playing in 5 games no less. It’s the same people who will remind us that Kyle Allen also looked good any time Bryce has a good game.

We literally play the Saints next and this kid’s surprising start is the most relevant thing to talk about regarding them.

Bryce Young insecurity shouldn’t shut down talk

It's great that a 26 year old rookie is playing well.  Cool story.

Is he a franchise guy?  Can you (or the Saints) afford to stick just with him as your QB1 on Draft Night?  Will he flame out?  He's had some injury concerns in his college career so that's something I'd keep an eye on.

There are just too many questions right now to say for sure Shough is the Dude in NO or a dud.  Like everyone else, he's got five games to show the Saints they need to worry about team building.

I would trade down and ride him one more year.  They are not going to be anywhere remotely close to competing any time soon so no reason to go nuts and draft another qb.  They have some major issues on the horizon

    • With the contract money an OT first rounder makes you can ALWAYS get a new girlfriend.  And probably an upgrade at that.  You only got 2 parents.
    • Brother. You are wholly confusing comparing situations and applying actual standards like most other franchises do like simply getting into a playoff series and winning at least 1 or 2 series games with praising. Nobody is praising the Hawks. Nobody is praising the Magic. Nobody here likes those teams. But reality is reality. The Hawks like other franchises have traded players fired coaches etc but they can still win a couple playoff games. How is that not the bare floor for you or anyone else? What are we doing here if it isn't? We've seen eye to eye on many things over the years. But you are in the camp on the Hornets where you are emotionally attached to LaMelo where you feel the need to carry his water like he's got that juice. That's cool that you feel that way. It's your prerogative. But I differ from that viewpoint entirely. If he had that juice we would not have gotten wiped off the court in 2 play in games with 2 different coaching staffs and rosters. if people don't like hearing that well I'm sorry but how the hell is this team ever going to get better and ultimately go anywhere in the postseason if we just blindly pat them on the back for getting their asses whooped before they actually even get into the real playoffs? There seem to be some Bryce Young level standards being applied here. That's wild to me. But to each his own.
    • Proctor/Freeling were always the belles of the ball where we were picking. What those two *could* become at OT was far greater than what others could be at their respective positions and I’m glad our FO could see that.
