How does he haul it in? The ball was thrown behind a bit and allowed the defender to close... That's a ball placement issue and a corner playing through the play instead of giving up

You don't remember seeing McMillan bring in off target passes earlier in the year?

(I sure do)

Guys like Newton, Favre and others have "general vicinity" accuracy. The best receivers deal with it, and I put McMillan in that category.

He's just a little down right now.

The DB came in right as the ball got there and pulled TMacs hands down as he was adjusting his body to catch a ball BEHIND HIM. Shough throws that in a better position so *shrugs*

It's fine, Bryce is good in other ways, but that was bad ball placement.

They really can both be true. Throwing a good pass was the easier play to make between the two. I just have higher expectation for Tmac than Bryce and would love to see him make those physical contested catches as a 220 lb 6’5 receiver.

4 is a good WR, but he is soft. Both of those things can be true. He’s also got a problem consistently attacking the football. He needs to go get the MFer

If you think Bryce is throwing better balls than Shough, you are bias. Shough is throwing ropes to spots on his receiver can make a play on the ball. Marino/Bledsoe type throws

Your dude drops a pass or two per game because he’s still a bit too soft. It’s okay he’s a rookie he will figure it out. Be objective bro, it’s okay.

Not catching a pass is NOT the same thing as dropping it

I will bet you my entire life savings that isn't ruled a drop, and you know why?  Because it wasn't, it was a bad pass first and foremost, but even putting that completely aside, it was a great play by the DB to break it up, as if he hadn't punched the ball the second it touched his hands, then it would have been a TD.

You telling me to be objective while saying he dropped that is downright comical.
