I'm honestly not mad about the call. But we should have someone else practicing QB sneaks since little Bryce and geriatric Dalton can't do it. Let Rico or one of the TEs or XL or somebody do it. Somebody with the power to move the pile.

QB sneak is not in Legette’s future. Maybe Terminix or Orkin man.

I didn’t realize we were in FG range until after we missed it. Against a team that has scored 7 points into the 4th quarter, you sure as hell go up 10 in the 4th. Add in the fact that his clock management before halftime cost us a chance at a TD, Canales in year 2 is showing some seriously bad HC decision making.

That decision and playcall probably lost them the game alone. It’s insane how bad today was in so many ways. Most of all how the saints were nudged to a win with penalties

I mean the pass to get into fg range was a bit fluky, but he did call a td pass that Bryce threw a can of corn on.

Their tying score, we should have just gone for it from our 28 on 4th down. They were back down there in no time. Defense sucked hard.

if the kicker misses it we would be bitching why we gave the saints the ball at midfield in a one possession game instead of trying to convert a 4th and inches. are the odds better of getting an inch or a rookie kicker hitting a 52 yard field goal? he's 2 of 4 btw this year over 50 yards

if we convert worst case we still end up with 3 but milk another 3 minutes off the clock, OR we end up with 7 and put the game pretty much out of reach. at the end of the day there's no excuse for the swiss cheese defense. the saints marched right down the field and we got a lucky stop on 4th down after they negated their field goal and the following drive they scored going down the field with about 5 chunk plays. a 3 and 10 team without kamara and starting a 2nd round rookie with 1 legit receiver and we let them look like the 2007 Pats in the 4th quarter. Blame Evero

The play call had potential to be great had the pitch to Dowdle been the call. We had run Chuba on that play already, why not pitch it out to Dowdle and let him make the corner miss for probably a 15+ yard gain at minimum.

Not like it's a last sec kick or a big pressure situation at that point.

They showed the other guy hitting from 50 yard line in warmups but our guy can't make a basic in door kick

I think going for it was right...it's what we do. I think Chuba chose the wrong hole, he dove right into the back of a dude that had already lost and stood straight up.
