I will never not think the guy is an elite corner possibly the best corner we have ever had. He is for the most part lock down with some of the best hands I have seen at corner. Now this is just me and the ole eye ball test, you line him up vs big and fast corners he's good. You line him up vs 4.3 elite all world speed he struggles greatly in that area.

Olave has made him look bad in both matchups and off the top of my head I think he had a bad rep against the jets.. overall tho he can't be beat deep if you run faster than a 4.4.

I think Horn really just had one really bad play Sunday.  But that's sort of what you pay him for.....that one man on man play at the goal vs Olave.  That's supposed to be Horn's strength.  Being able to play man over zone.

I still think Horn lacks the one season that actually proves he is what we think he is.

There may very well be a point here. And that should be part of our scouting and scheming. I wonder how Jackson does against speed vs height as well.

And then have Moerhig (sp???) double up on the speedster for some hard hits. Nothing slows up a speedster like a couple of hard tackles.

I think hes been fantastic with the pass rush hes been paired with.... if we had even a league average pass rush he doesnt give up a lot of the plays he has.

I'm pretty sure any corner that is thrown on an island against a 4.3 elite speed receiver will struggle. And it's hard to say who is responsible for what when we run zone what feels like 90% of the game.

    • damn I wish somebody would sign him. This has been going on for weeks.    I think if the team wanted to sign him we probably would have heard something about interest on our part.    Or any TE. It looks like they have set that room. And we have taken guys two years running, a guy like this would be blocking them. We need to see if they have it or not. And we should see if Tremble is gonna ever do anything.      In general, with the TEs
    • Dude, there aren’t rose colored glasses big enough for you to call this “not a bad draft.” BC was not a good pick. He was taken with the 6th pick in round 3 and he’s been a backup OL. Tremble also wasn’t a win. Another 3rd rounder who’s easily replaced. Only reason either of them started games is because of injuries or a lack of a better starter. Chuba’s got heart but he’s had one solid year behind a solid run blocking unit. Other than that he’s underwhelmed and like we saw with Dowdle and Foreman, it’s not hard to find cheap pickups who perform as well. Horn has been a good starter but honestly that draft had so many solid starters we could have taken. With as many picks as we had, him and Chuba is absolutely a bad draft. We needed OL and BC and Brown was a terrible effort. You clearly didn’t watch the Senior Bowl if you thought Brown had a chance in the NFL. The huddle draft folks wanted Humphrey and Smith and instead we got crap and Mahomes was the winner.
