If the offense stalls Saturday..

Recommended Posts

If you’re Canales and Tampa manages to reconstruct what the Seahawks and Saints have done against the offense, and it starts getting into the 3rd and you need a spark.

Do you pull a QB swap for a spark or let it ride? I know this may seem like a dumb question but it seems obvious now there is a clear method to shutting down Bryce & Co.

Is it worth the chance to do that or does that cut ties between them forever?

1. Neither team is good and I don't expect the Bucs to magically turn that corner this Sunday.

2. I think it's still the Young show regardless of how he does, just like it has been the last 3 years. I would personally send him away for anything just to have him gone. Turn the page and take some time before looking back on that error. Not taking the 5th year option should make moving him the only sane move but this is not the land of the sane.

Just a scenario I thought of. I think it would measure how loyal Canales was to Bryce.

Score is say 16-3 in the 3rd and you have 50 passing yards, but your defense is playing well, what do you do?

If it were me I would be calling my agent and having him find me another job.

If Canales let's it get to that point again they all should be fired before they get back to Charlotte.

No way Young comes out of the game unless he gets injured.

If he has another SEA/SF/NO debacle, it only helps Canales’ case to upper management to give him his choice at QB next year and beyond. Canales is doing what any employee does when Ownership tells them what they want. Canales should have his choice at QB if Young looks like sh1t two years in a row.

Canales should let him finish and should immediately start drafting his post-season pitch to management/Tepper.

As much as he was outclassed by Macdonald, he gets more leash than Bryce right now and should make his case pronto if Bryce fizzles out (for better or worse)

You feed Rico the rock.  On repeat.  Thats how you win.

I expect the Bucs to have a different gameplan this week than last after Tampa was called out for gameplanning for the 2024 Panthers last time.  Baker got the skill talent to hurt us pretty good if they put it on him and he plays good.  Got to keep the ball away from both QBs with Rico

...its like showing up to a porn shoot with a 3 in deek...I'm not on the Canales train but what is he suppose to do with Brycie. He was the only one available that would take this sht job.You have to be realistic with what he has to work with.
