The best coordinators in the league don't want to touch a team that is going to force them to start their pet project players/coordinators who are failing. I can't put a HC on the chopping block who isn't allowed to choose his own QBs, DC, or what RB he wants to start.

Personally I believe Canales is limited do to Bryces limited abilities and what he has done with them has been actually decent.

Canales is unquestionably doing a bad job. His in game management is the worst we have ever had during the Tepper era, possibly worst ever. His personnel management is also atrocious. 

It's been about 60% hindrance and 40% help.

There is no reason to come and be a sacrifical lamb in a team with an offense not set up for success. 

So you can get fired to cover for a bad head coach and then have your reputation partially tarnished?

This shows exactly what I've been yelling for more than a year now. It will be ridiculously easy to upgrade from Bryce.

Of course we want to do more than just upgrade, but with the talent in this team just a modest improvement at QB will turn us into a pretty good team.

I think most rational observers who aren't invested in propping up Bryce Young at all costs would agree that you would be hard pressed to find another #1 pick that has been afforded this long of a leash. It is absolutely about the investment at this point. Not what is best for the team.

This is Bryce's first three years starting versus Pennington's first three years starting(he was on the bench for 2 seasons prior).
