next year is his 5th year option and we've already picked it up.  He'll make 17 mill while rehabbing.

That's the thing, the middle of round is void of Edge rusher currently.  You have a few guys pegged top 15 candidates then there's a huge gap to the end of round 1.  I'm sure there will be a RAS warrior that will jump up 10 spots or more after the Combine, and we'll be suckers to fall for it too.  This is where you take stock of players, now. Not after the Combine, Pro Days and team meetings.  After that, it's subjective to preferences/opinions: underwear athleticism, personality, scheme fits, proficiency/consistency of reps versus the air, etc...

Tape & stats. Folks, It's that freaking simple.  We always overthink and over-analyze draft season.

This is soo sad I feel bad for Icky I hope he can recover and possibly come back strong in 2027

Sucks for Ickey. Also watching the play he got hurt and a penalty, he did not hold he just fell backwards. That was a blow call.

Not likely. They won’t be giving up on him long term so I see a stop gap vet and re signing someone like Yosh/Christiansen to a 1 year deal until Icky can come back. If we do draft someone it will likely be someone who can be a Moton replacement and still help as a LT fill in until Icky can return such as JC Latham, Amarius Mims or Taliese Fuaga

We were about to give Ickey a big contract, so it’s possible we go out into FA and given some other LT that contract. 
 

I’d prefer to draft one, but that’s a lot of draft capital we need for the defense.
