Allen is way better than Cam. But yes, Cam could've benefitted from better WRs. Any QB can. Sure, he had Diggs but Cam had Smitty. They need more than that. Allen didn't have squat this season.

No, Cam made the players around him better. He made Ginn Jr look liked an actual NFL receiver. What bad WR has Allen ever transformed?

Josh Allen has similar physical measurables to Cam and is a damn good quarterback in his own right, but he's never done anything like running over the entire conference throwing to the likes of Jerricho Cotchery and Ted Ginn Jr en route to the Super Bowl.

edit: I have no idea where "john allen" came from

Yeah, there are some good ones available but they wouldn't want to come here.  It would've been a repeat of the same situation that led to us hiring Canales which is basically that Tepper's wish list has to start where everyone else's ends. Too much meddling and I don't think any HC is signing up eith the perception of being tied to Bryce Young at QB.

Exactly. Desired coaches with options aren’t coming here, even for money. They want to win and be part of an organization that knows how to do that and will let them do their job. No HC wants to come in a butt heads with Tepper’s dumbass and his wife who have zero football knowledge giving input in the draft room lol. Players don’t either. We already found this out with coaches and players like Stafford.

Not sure why fans don’t see this, just because someone is available doesn’t mean anything. All these good coaches mean nothing to us.

This team’s success will rely on hitting on an unknown mixed with throwing poo against a wall waiting for something to stick. See last 10 years (of perpetual losing).

Dang so many good coaches available this cycle, kinda sucks to be stuck with Canales.

I mean basically the same thing happened at QB too.  We forced it instead of letting it come to us.  Canales wasn’t a terrible hire given the non existent pool, but those decisions to force a move quickly compounded into Canales

Yeah, I think the Bills picked the wrong scapegoat here. That overall roster has been trending downward for awhile now.

Sure seems like a roster issue.  Receivers are meh, defense folds at the worst possible times and all they really did was dump it all on Allen’s shoulders to go win it all.

Hmmmm…the Rivera is strong with this one.

Allen is basically getting Cam'd right now. The entire offense is falling on him and listen, he's one helluva talented QB but when it comes to carrying an offense single handedly he's not prime Cam Newton. I haven't seen anyone at the NFL level that is. That roster had been spiraling downward for several years now and they just scapegoats McD when honestly Beane seems to be the guy who's fuging it up.

At the time Canales was hired… a lot of people do not want to hear this but Bryce was a big part of people with other options not wanting to take it on.

Tepper’s hard headedness was at the root of the problems but Bryce is a byproduct of that. And you had to buy in completely on Bryce if you wanted the job. So…Dave, step right up.
