Would be a PR nightmare and no note worthy coach would ever come to us as long as Tepper is around.

No noteworthy coach is coming here anyway as long as Tepper is here. It's not like DC was a hot commodity and any coach who wants to do things his way isn't going to get the job offer.

I disagree. There are examples where big name coaches were brought in and its understood the team is trying to win. Like firing Dungy to hire Gruden. No one looks back on tampa and poo poos them for the move.

Everyone knows that Gruden won the Superbowl with Dungy's team, versus his old team, that was too stupid to even change up their calls and signals.

So there is that. I don't know if it could be counted as poo poo.

I always considered that Dungy's team with Gruden at the helm.

Admittedly I’ve never been impressed by McDermott. Having Allan drag the Bills to the playoffs every year in a division with walkovers Jets and Dolphins is not very impressive tbh. What is it that he’s done to make his team overachieve? But maybe I’m missing something?

    • I heard it was him showing up in NE for his ring of honor ceremony and talking about how great the organization was and the Titans ownership felt a certain way about that. They also fired/mutually parted ways with Mike Mularky after he got them to the playoffs. So making the playoffs as the Titans coach is the kiss of death. They've ran off the last 2 to achieve that lofty goal.
    • No matter what anyone says about refs, coaching or whatever, this was the season where we caught some vital breaks on the way to 8 wins.  I mean we could easily and I mean easily have been a 4/5 win team.   If dave doesnt figure out this offense stat then the reality could set in early.   thats why the icky news really blows, having to deal with that amongst our other issues just sucks
    • If you look at the random Twitter accounts a lot of them started posting towards the end of 2022, so when Alabama was trying to gin up another heisman for him. i imagine the same people control a lot of these accounts. Tepper just uses the team media outlets and reporters, and maybe pays JT O’Sullivan. This never ending slop on social media is probably from his agent.
