I’ve been watching all the prospects and I’m open to a lot of options at 19. Lots of guys that if we chose I wouldn’t be mad. I started watching Emmanuel McNeil Warren yesterday (Toledo Safety) and he’s my undisputed favorite pick right now for us, especially after our free agency pick ups. He just oozes “Panthers” type of energy. Everyone in our locker room would love him. Also has shades of Kam Chancellor / Derwin James. He is 6’4 and runs a sub 4.5 40. Big hitter

what if we took McNeil Warren at 19, and then went with Jacob Rodriguez OR Eli Stowers with our round 2 pick? Eli Stowers is not much different from Kenyon sadiq.

I think Dillion Thieneman is better fit. We need range more than we need a big hitter becuase we habve those.  Dillion an amazing fit for us. He also erases the need to draft a nickel corner becuase of his coverage skills.  Big Nickel and would be nasty. Moehrig, Ramson and Thieneman on the field all at once.

That big DT from Ohio State is the way I think we go since Banks is made of tissue paper. This team wants to stop the run first and foremost

The more I think about it the more I like the idea. Him (Kayden McDonald), Caleb Banks, and Peter Woods all should have 1st round grades and I could see any of them being there at 19.

Our 2015 D was so damned good because KK and Star were in there throwing people around like they were in a mosh pit.

well he decided not to upgrade the position at all and re-signed Nick Scott

I hear ya, but... there really isn't a whole lot out there right now that is any better. At least not that I can see. Unless staff sees Ransom as being able to switch to more of a FS role, I'm pretty sure we draft a starter and Scott is the back up. Also, I see him as a solid backup.

I know Banks is expected healthy before training camp from foot surgery but I don’t think I could gamble on a big man with reoccurring foot injuries at 19. If Dan Morgan picks him I’ll assume they have seen enough of his medicals to not be deterred.
