Mitchell has been a godsend to our secondary. He is playing at a pro-bowl level right now. What does he have 4 sacks and 3 picks?  Not only that but he has taken on the responsibility of being a leader to this young secondary. Put Melvin in position to make the pick against Eli.

 

I think he has made one mistake since moving to FS and that was he bit on a route that left Quick one on one with JT for the 70+ yard gain.

 

He has been simply incredible.

Man this guy hits hard. I saw a couple of plays where he punished ball carriers for big gains.

In addition I love the praise celebration he does after a big play. He extends his arms out and basks in the spotlight. It hypes the team up, without directly mocking the player he blew up. It is second only to Cam's superman celebration on this team.

My conspiracy theory is that's actually Mike Minter, somehow rejuvenated, leaner and wearing a new face after plastic surgery.

His plan to become a Raider and attract our attention so we'd sign him as a free agent was brilliant.

The one thing that still baffles me though is how he got two inches taller :unsure:

      After watching Dan for 3 yrs now, I think I understand his plan. It’s a simple plan that should work for the long run.     I saw some of this last yr. Dan wants a vet and a young player at each position. I really think we go OT if one they like there. Moton is aging, Icky will not be back until 27, if ever. We need to get ahead of the tackle problem

      You are just stressing too much about these particular positions. You want to upgrade from Bryce and I understand that but you aren’t going to really get that without getting into a bidding war for a QB2 potential QB1 like Willis. You could possibly trade for Mills or the backup for Chicago but they are still gambles and their teams will won’t decent picks.  Again the Eagles thought KP was a capable enough backup to trade for him once their backup was hurt and won a Super Bowl with him as QB2. The point is most teams aren’t rolling with some stud QB2/3 that is going to push even a bottom tier starter. They are better off the building their roster in other areas. The Rams are rolling with Bennett right now as QB2 for example.  The goal is winning absolutely. We overachieved last year even with stumbling into the playoffs. Another year and this staff needs to take the next step in building a team. Will Grier has little to no impact on that….

      Three straight first round WRs is straight up Matt Millen poo. Considering the draft capital we have tied up on Bryce after that trade we would basically have spent damn near all of our draft capital in recent years on QB and WR just to put one of the most anemic passing offenses in the league on the field. Clown show poo.
