Been awhile since I seen an opposing fanbase giving us absolutely 0% chance of winning.

ORIGINALLY POSTED WITH THREAD NOVEMBER 5TH 2013:

Just got back from a few 49ner message boards. Every single poster believes we will be blown out and that they are the best team in the league. If anyone offers any type of reason the Panthers have a greater than 1% chance in Candlestick they all grab their pitchforks. I really hope their misguided fanbase is just as sleepy as their team come Sunday. I have a feeling they won't be waking up til halftime when they are down 3 scores. Oh and Cam > Kaep, Kaep will tell you that.

JANUARY 7TH 2014 EDIT:
This week officially cements my opinion that 49ner fans are the worst in the NFL. Even after whupping their ass on their home field they still give us 0% chance to win on our home field. And just like I said last time, I'm not saying we're going to win, but fug if I'm giving the Panthers anything less than 50-50 chances. 49ner fans are idiots.

We are going to stuff the run and make them pass heavy. Td spying on kap. Double down on Davis. Make a slow boldin beat us.

Then on offense. Cram it down their fuging throat!!! I hope cam doesn't throw a damn pass. I've read their boards too and they have pissed me off. I want a 2008 verses the bucs game. Run after run after run. Make the niners your bitch stew, Williams, tolbert, Newton.

Ah the early days when the Panthers routinely kicked their NFC West foe's asses.

Lol I keep thinking that when I look at their division. It is so tough from top to bottom. I believe if the Rams still had Bradford they would have won their last two games.

That division use to be the laughing stock of the league. That was just 4 years ago.

I am glad their fans are so loyal and homers.  Shows what winning breeds. I suspect if we had the success they did over the past 2 years we might be just as bad.

Too bad their players won't be underestimating us at all. In any case I expect us to win this weekend.  Then again I expect us to win every week.  Does that make me one of those obnoxious homers???

The 49er fan posting here shared several Carolina win predictions from their board last night.

I was just going to point that out. Plenty of SF fans are NOT delusional and accept the fact that we're playing well and that this game could be a real contest. You could take selective posts from this board and make the case that the Panther fanbase is nuts too, but it wouldn't be representative, and neither is your "0% chance". Quit watching so many political commercials.

Colts showed all of the 49ers weaknesses on offense and defense.

Run the ball with a stead roatatin and they get gassed.

Shut down Gore and make it about Colin and the game goes downhill.

Granted they might have Crabtree and Manningham back, but still our biggest worry is probably Boldin.

I think it's going to be a close game, and that worries me, but last Sunday I saw a team that knew how to finish and put a team away.

Let's se what happens.

One things for sure though. The linemen need to go back to wearing those wonderful porn staches. That guy looks like a sexy beast even giving up that sack.

    • Saw this show up in my new feed. Nice to see a couple of our rookies making it into the top 5 so far, even if it is a pff measure... From https://www.pff.com/news/nfl-top-15-rookies-week-9-2025 ... 4. TE Mitchell Evans, Carolina Panthers (78.7) Evans struggled in the Panthers’ tight win over the Packers, finishing with a 41.8 PFF overall grade — third worst among tight ends this week. He was not targeted in the game and played only one snap in pass protection. He did log 15 run-blocking snaps, and although he earned a 68.9 PFF run-blocking grade in zone looks (seven snaps), his 39.0 mark in gap schemes (second worst for the week) dragged him down to a 46.6 PFF run-blocking grade overall — sixth worst for the week. Despite seeing zero targets over his past two games, Evans still leads the Carolina tight end group with a 74.3 PFF receiving grade. He has caught all nine of his targets for 90 yards, six first downs and two touchdowns. Evans also leads the Panthers’ tight end group in PFF run-blocking grade (72.2). He has recorded a 20.5% positive play rate across 175 snaps.  5. WR Tetairoa McMillan, Carolina Panthers (78.6) McMillan had a better day against the Packers, recording four catches for 46 yards. Most of that production came in the first quarter via two 16-yard catches — one of which he snatched from Carrington Valentine’s hands, who was in perfect position to break up the pass. McMillan accounted for three first downs on the day, although Green Bay was able to limit his impact after the catch, holding him to 0.8 yards after the catch per reception. McMillan now has 41 catches for 558 yards — a top-15 mark. He is also tied for second with 19 explosive gains of 15-plus yards. Three of McMillan’s catches against the Packers came between the numbers, bringing him to 22 for 318 yards and 19 first downs (tied for second most) this season. He owns a 26.1% threat rate and a 76.6 PFF receiving grade between the numbers. He also ranks in the top 10 in explosive gains (10) and yards after the catch per reception (5.5) within that area of the field.
    • At least we don't need to hear overreacting about towels ...
    • Actually there is, try being a Charlotte Hornets fan. I mean the team fuging moved at its peak and hasn't recovered since and that was 25 years ago
