What a delightful, insightful, totally original thread. I mean , why hasn't anyone thought of making this thread? SHOULD Rivera get fired? I don't think anyone has ever, ever done a thread like this before. Even has a pole...Wow. Innovative. Inventive.

I was with you until you spelled "poll" wrong.

How you can be a fan of a school you never attended is beyond me. I call this, "The Wal-Mart Effect" maybe that should've been my thesis in explaining this.

I know just as many redneck NCSU fans that didn't get into State and they still pull for the Pack.

Not everyone wants to be a fan of App State who can't even beat an FCS school with a curfew.

Three National Championships in a row, against whatever competition you like because it was comparable to what they had, trumps anything UNC football has ever done sir. I actually went to ECU but grew up in Boone. What was that score the past two years?

No, Richardson is asleep in his owners box.

But before nodding off he noticed the capacity crowd.

LOL!

Nice one.

Yea JR has shown us yet again he is part of the problem...he doesn't have the balls to make tough calls and if he did he probably would side with the money over winning...not like he would want to pay some money for a dead beet coach he had to fire early.

Spent a ton of time at UNC amd always been a fan, just got too good of a scholarship offer elsewhere to pay my way to go there.

How can you have such an inferiority complex for another university? Maybe you should focus your thesis on why NCSU has that inferiority complex. Hopefully you can fit it around your packed schedule. It's getting that time of year when it's probably tough to get time off at Wal-Mart. But, having an actual job probably places you pretty highly in the NCSU hierarchy, so congrats!

Holy poo... ECU? Damn, you couldn't even get into NCSU? LOL!

Okay... What was the score the past 20 years before that...

Or did you just start pulling for them this year? I've never seen so many closet ECU fans.

And lol at FCS football being comparable to anything any team for that matter has done in the FBS.

The only FCS school worth a damn is NDSU

Did Cason see the field after that PI call?  I know he sucks, but I always considered him a better corner than White.  At least Cason gets the occasional turnover.  I'm tired of this stupid doghouse crud that Rivera got going.  This is why he needs to be fired.

Just curious to see what you think. I think it should be. It won't, because Jerry is paying him money and that's all that truly matters to this organization, but it should.

Do you think Rivera has a fair shot with the salary cap restrictions? Plus we have a 13 million dollar franchised player sitting on the sideline.

Personally I think he is doing just as good a job as Sean Payton considering the Saints roster an offseason additions. They added players we subtracted players. I hate the Saints but they are only 4-4 and they were picked by every one to win it all.

He converted all 13 of his field goal tries with a 100% conversion rate that led all FBS kickers with at least 12 attempts. Fitzgerald was also perfect on his 14 extra points. He will compete with Matthew Wright for the Panthers’ kicking job in training camp. Harrison-Hunte went undrafted despite a strong showing at the Combine. He’s an older prospect who will turn 25 by the start of his rookie year, but he had just one season of sustained production at SMU after five years at Miami. Still, he earned first-team All-ACC honors in 2024 with 8.5 tackles for loss and 6.5 sacks and will push for a roster spot in Carolina as an athletic interior disruptor.   more at the link https://www.profootballrumors.com/2025/05/panthers-sign-19-undrafted-free-agents
