Norwell only lineman with a positive grade from PFF

Per J.Person. Olsen the only other offensive player with a positive grade Monday night. Norwell is the best lineman they have right now (even our Pro Bowl center is stinking it up). If they pull this guy and start ANYONE over him then they are totally in a state of dillusion. But nothing would suprise me with this coaching staff.

When Turner gets back.  It should be Turner and Norwell.

I cannot believe we haven't signed any Tackles.  They cannot be worse than what we are getting from Bell and Chandler.

I am not the only one eating a huge plate of crow right now.  I was certain Bell and Chandler would be the answer, AT LEAST for one year.

Guess Not.

Crow is so damn boney.

So let me get this straight.

Bell sucked ass last year as a RT and you thought he would magically be decent as a LT?

This is the worst-performing OL I remember seeing in a long time, Carolina or otherwise. I remember the line being pretty terrible in 2010 as well, but I think that was almost more scheme related rather than having terrible players.

OL wasn't that bad in 2010. Clausen would just flee the pocket. Notre Dame OL got irritated BC of the bad rep some gave them bc of his habits. Did a scent job run blocking too given the fact opponents stacked the box all day

Kalil may have a negative grade, but I can't really blame him.

He's just trying to make an omelet from the poo-eggs around him every damn play and keeps getting splattered with the poo.

    • For a 3rd year QB? That flies with the Teppers and makes the HC and GM look like fools.  Their fear is evident. Their careers are tied to making it work, it's ehy they signed on here and they are professionals who knows what kind of a situation they could potentially have on their hands if they are not calculating about popping up Bryce. I call BS to that sir. It's why every QB after Bryce couldn't make any other rosters past a PS spot...at best
    • Not just Dalton.   But the only real young arm they would let be seen the past 2 years was a really a bad Jack Plummer.  Who was super weak even for that tier  Can’t convince me how weak they made the atmosphere around Young hasn’t been intentional.
    • Things of note: mentions he has six drops. Six. For all the people that don’t know what a drop is, he has six. That’s a long distance from the league leader at ten. (To be fair, pro football reference has him at seven, still not bad.  Plenty of others is that same range.  His drop % is 6.3, which is low.) Catchable ball success ratio: 83% which is great. Catchable being the key word.  Mentions his contested catch rate is low at 5/18 but that’ll get better I think when he can rely on muscle memory for routes, catches, etc and the game slows down for him
