I told someone last week that it didn't matter if a team is starting rookies because the people in front of them were just flat out bad.

 

I don't rescind that statement, BUT I will say having rookies that earn the spot and are performing definitely makes me proud.

And 4 of them have last names starting with B - has to be some other kind of obscure record.

Hell, they have 1, 2, 3, and 4 syllables too. The team hit for the cycle with their 'B' rookies.

We are set up so much nicer for the future than the rest of the division it's not even funny.

We took a division winner apart and have a very good chance of winning it again with a mere shell of that team.

With the bill coming due on the Brees/Payton era and the Bucs still searching for a quarterback after all these years it's pretty much us and Atlanta from here on out, and who knows what happens to Atlanta after this season?

Was talking at the game with a friend about the rookie DB's. Pointed out how Coach Fox would've never ever released veterans midseason and started rookies in their place, it's not his kind of team. Even though I fully loved Fox, I always saw that as one of his shortcomings. It's a new era in Carolina. I am so thankful for Gettleman finding & signing talented young players and for Rivera to be willing to make the changes needed.

 

Colin Jones is very fast, his mom was a track star. But how about Tre Boston running down Martin from the other side of the field? Wow.
