Hats off to Seattle....

Overall I enjoyed my Seattle trip. The fans are friendly and courteous, more than willing to help me find my way around. They are passionate about their team, and who can blame them. They have a lot of heart, They absolutely are the better team and deserve to move on.

The stadium is loud, but I really don't know what the big deal is. Although it was louder than any Panthers home game I have been to, it was not as loud as the rival dome away games I have been to. I had no issues hearing on the field. I think it my be a really clever marketing ploy, but hey, seems to work. More power to them.

Pretty much what I expected.  They have an outstanding team and they have built their team into what we hope we will be able to in the near future.  Beautiful city.  I encourage anyone with an opportunity to take a vacation, to consider the Seattle area.  The people are nice and you will have a wonderful vacation.  Good game Seattle.  You have the better team and we know what we have to do to compete with you.  Thanks for the lesson.

    • Apparently CSW lost his starting job to Thornton last year. If he can stay healthy I bet Thornton keeps that NB position.
    • I member him staying after practices with only to see he was wearing heavy weight vest, one of his trademarks. He also put in 10 years, right? People forget he was the ST stud that called the snap and made sure everyone lined up right. He was one of the "glue" guys that bought his "lunch pail" to work.... He was a willing solider, all teams need a couple of them. He blocked for sooo many panthers RBs- Davis, lane, Williams, foster, goings and when there was huge injuries he took over the starter duties and had a couple 100 yard games. If you followed hoover, he took the perfect RB path cause he was just a slow heavy one himself....
    • Walker likely depends on a couple of things. What exactly did Dan promise him, to start with.  How much other interest he actually had for a starter job at high pay is another question. It isn’t outside the realm of possibility that he could stay on as a swing tackle waiting to take Moton’s spot when it opens.    I can’t get myself to consider Icky as a viable anything until we see him back on the field.     Hunt seems to be a team player and good guy but I don’t think he is worth what he is being paid. I have him tentatively earmarked for cap causality in the near future.
