So 4 years ago Cam Newton was drafted as the number 1 pick, and Jim Folsom from Bleacher Report wrote this fascinating piece....

Cam Newton: Why Carolina Panthers' New QB Is the Worst NFL Draft Pick Ever

http://bleacherreport.com/articles/694994-carolina-panther-cam-newton-is-the-worst-nfl-draft-pick-ever?utm_source=twitter.com&utm_medium=share&utm_campaign=web-des-art-top-171

Cam Newton is a sure-fire bust. I am so certain of this that if he is the Panthers' starting quarterback in 2016, I will buy a Cam Newton jersey and stand in the stadium parking lot in my underwear when the Panthers come to Tampa Bay and hold a sign proclaiming that Auburn rules over Florida and Carolina rules over Tampa Bay.

5 reasons as to why Cam was the worst draft pick ever:

1. Cam Newton has not had enough experience as a starting quarterback to warrant a No. 1 pick.

2. Cam Newton has never lost a game as a starting quarterback. Wouldn't it be nice to know how he will react when he does lose a game?

3. Cam Newton is no brainiac. From all accounts, he came off as an idiot on Jon Gruden's show on ESPN.

4. Cam Newton's character has been repeatedly called into question.

5. Cam cannot hit the broad side of a barn with a football.

In five years, when Tim Teb0w is leading Denver into the playoffs and Cam Newton is riding someone's bench, remember this article.

If you're looking for a laugh read the article, read the comments for a few hundred more. Maybe pay Mr Folsom a visit on Twitter and remind him of his wager for a real bellyache.

#2 has some merit to it. I remember the sulkimg press conferences. But i see the desire to win as a good thing, and so is not accepting losing.

Overall, people just should not give views and clicks to these people. Its like a lottle kid and legos critiqing an archetect and construction of a building. These guys are uninformed, surface evaluating, peanut brains.

Im talking about you prisco

Cam newton a bust? Lol hes just mad cam owns the bucs twice a year!! . He will find out what a bust qb is and thats jaimus winston aka the next jamarcus russell. You know its offseason when these other fan bases trash us , me personally I love when people trash talk me and my team it makes me feel 100x better when we beat that team and we get the last laugh.

    • Them playing behind a couple more seasoned guys until they get familiar with coverage and pace of play is a good thing though. We really can use them to spell the other guys, and in situational ball especially with Ransom on possible run/blitzing downs.
    • They fuged him over so bad to help cover their bad judgement. About time he got a little something to wrk with.
    • I think completion percentage is a bit of a overinflated stat for a qb too. People place to much stock into it. So many factors to consider with it : receivers, how many attempts are made deep, the defense etc all play a roll in it. When it’s considerably low 50% or less the QB accuracy can come into question. But I don’t think it’s necessarily one of the better percentages to put so much importance into for that position. General effectiveness is far more indicative of the QB you have. First downs, 3rd and 4th down conversions, points scored and clutch plays IMO is how you grade a QB. Always bothered the poo out of me how people downed Cam for his completion percentage and that’s what they used to disregard him as an all time great. Dude damn near averaged 3tds to 1 turnover a game and was an obvious difference maker for us.
