Regarding talk of Josh and Cam not getting along

Heard some speculation earlier that these two don't care for one another. I never got that impression.

Good read from Voth of BBR on the subject

“Sometimes it happens in this league. Quarterbacks make perfect plays, they bounce back and forget about what they did that first time, and make a play. He’s a Pro Bowler, he’s our quarterback and captain, and I didn’t expect anything less.

“I know I’m gonna get ragged by Cam. He told me about it, but it’s cool, it happens, and we live with it. We got back and I was like, ‘Great play.'”

The wussifcation of the world continues. Can't even get into little scuffles in an NFL training camp practice without people overracting.

Yeah NFL network last night made me sick. Kept talking about how "you don't want your quarterback putting himself out there in this type of way". It pissed me off big time

Guy from work told me this morning "Told ya that boy was classless little bitch, didn't I?".  My response: "took him 4 years to prove you right, huh?"

Spoken like a true person that will never be within 5 feet of a 6'5 250 pound athletic freak

I agree that we don't want our qb putting himself out there like he did.

In the end it wasn't a big deal, but it could be the next time.

    • well i could go on & on but i will just highlight it by saying big difference trust me from the SEC & NFL.it's honestly like comparing apples & oranges especially when you are talking about a  LT. in the NFL you are going up against the most athletic freaks of nature the world has to offer . .the NFL also has much more exotic & complicated defensive schemes than what they are used to seeing at Georgis &  finally but most importantly you have to learn how to master complex bio mechanics where the body kick steps instantly as a reaction to these world class athletes rush without really making a conscious effort it's more of a learned muscle memory  & it can take thousands upon thousands of reps to master rproper technique for a LT in the NFL especially if you are still very raw like Monroe Freeling is    ...just saying
    • All that being the case or maybe being the case, we do not know Wharton’s timetable n the first place. They are being coy about it. Or maybe not. They say week to week the board says he is terminal lol and must be replaced. Who knows? It may or may not warrant a fairly drastic solution.  Walker is a bargain and we are not well stocked at OL despite recent investments. Freeling has yet to have a single padded practice. Too much speculation driving this plan IMO.
    • I would really love to know who’s actually making these moves because it’s weirdly vague who’s doing the hiring and firing.
