Bersin over Boykin

If you put much stock in snap counts towards the roster cuts,  Bersin is leading Boykin by a wide margin.

I believe Boykin is the better reciever, BUT he hasn't gotten much time with the 1's to really prove he can play.

The ones that get the most snaps might be the ones they are evaluating more because they know or like what they see in another player.

Serious question, what does Bersin offer over the occasional first down catch over the middle?  I did see him on special teams last night so there's that.  To me, he is as good as he will ever be right now, not a lot of upside.

I'll take Bersin too.  The man doesn't drop passes, runs good routes and knows how to get open.   Boykins over Cotchery though.

I like them both. People hate bersin for the punt returns last year, but he is automatic when we need a first down.  I wish we'd target him more when we need one

Bersin had 1 drop last year on 20 targets with 13 receptions, the man is dependable and that's what we need right now.

I hope Boykin gets a lot of reps next week and sticks.

the "playing Bersin more to evaluate him"  take is pretty silly. 

Who do they know more about,  Bersin who has gone through three camps a full season with the Panthers or Boykin who got here this spring.

Keep both. Bersin is dependable and moves the chains, though isn't electricifying.....sounds just like Boykin. 

This team, outside of adding a talented WR that gets cut, is going to have to win by committee. We need all of the reliable pass-catchers we can get right now. Funchess-Cotchery-Ginn-Brown-Bersin-Boykin is a reality that is becoming more real. 

Rather than look at the mediocrity, potential and question marks at WR, I'm more focused on the strength at RB, the cohesive & improved OL and a QB that is healthy, signed long-term and has a new outlook on life after last year. Additionally, you bring in guys like Shaq, Tillman and Coleman, and our defense is top-5.

I'd like to see 6 WRs on the roster. Boykin proved he was a quality receiver with GB. I'm betting he's gonna play for somebody this year if not us.
