Norwood Timetable

Does anyone know a timetable on Kevin Norwood? More or less just a curiosity question. I know that in the preseason they had made a package for him, but I haven't heard too much going forward about him getting in the game.

I suspect at someone point he will be active but i wouldnt expect much from him because he missed so much of training camp

I'm betting we'll be seeing him involved in the offense this weekend.

By the time we finish our bye-week, I think he'll be a key to our offense.

Seattle at the earliest is my guess. 4 games plus a bye week to get his feet wet in the offense.

He was inactive due to not having the playbook down yet.  The only timetable will be how quickly he can learn and understand our offense, before they're willing to give him an active spot on Sundays.

I can't imagine them not throwing him in some plays with some basic routes to start, I mean get the guy some time at least to get accustom to some of the route tree in a game.

Like previously mentioned, should at least get a shot after getting the playbook down. Surprised it wasn't done in 20 mins with Shula's brilliant mind.

Not sure if he will contribute much at all this season.

I know we liked him coming out of college but its not like he wasn't going to get cut by a team that sucks at WR so to think he is going to come in here and light the world on fire is overly optimistic.  If he gets on the field and contributes at all this season it will have to be considered a success, forget having any kind of dramatic impact.  Hope I'm wrong, of course, as I would love for him to torch his old team in a few weeks.

Yeah, I don't know what to expect. I just figured if he's the only guy we go after, surely were not going to sit him on the bench past the bye week. There's got to be a package (like the preseason) that he works on so we can at least get him some reps on the field and maybe a couple looks.
