That Kevin Norwood play that lead to an INT.

Although it was an interception. What impressed me the most is that he chased down that guy and caused a fumble. The kid hustled and made up for his mistake, had everyone been as eager as him to get to the ball, that INT would have been recovered easily. 

 

He literally zeroed in on that ball and punched it out. I like this kid. 

 

Another note would be had he made that catch, he'd be in the end zone celebrating, there was no one in front of him. I can't recall but maybe the throw was a little behind him or was just too hot to handle.  Either way, this kid is progressing nicely. The following weeks should good.

The pass hit his hands and he couldn't hold on to it, but in his favor, the ball was tipped at the line of scrimmage and I agree, I think that he's progressing well, well enough to actually start...

From my seat it should have been a catch, but Cam did lead him pretty good (which I know is the correct pass) and I'm sure it was a rocket. He was upset about it and I liked the defensive hustle he made. I'm ready to see him get more targets.

The ball was tipped at the line which threw its trajectory off and made it a wobbler. It was catchable but not your average drop.

The 6 or 7 snaps he went out for routes, he ran great routes but was never even looked at by Cam.  The play be dropped it, he ran a nice dig route to get open, wish he would have pulled it in.  After that drop, he didn't see the field again.

It wasn't like it was a gimme TD or something. People need to chill on that and wait to see what Norwood is capable of once he really gets into the flow of the game.

Yep. All this Norwood love is just hope. It isn't based on much. Kid hasn't done anything in the NFL yet. HE may one day, but until then he is the 4th string wr on a team with bad receivers. ( too much truth? )

I'm hopeful that he gets some reps. With Cotchery's high ankle sprain he and Funchess will get more looks. Trial by fire, but we need these guys

Luckily his gaffe didn't cost us the game. Against the best teams in the NFL, blowing a crucial drive with your team in the red zone with a mistake like that leaving points on the board could cost us big time. I'm not going to be too hard on him since he is new, but I doubt those looking for a silver lining in that play would be so forgiving if we had ended up losing to Houston.
