Broncos bench Manning

I wonder if Osweiler showed enough to get a chance to start.  It's tough to overstate how terrible Peyton was.  He was 5-20 for 35 yards and 4 INTs when he finally got yanked.

That OL is terrible though.  Maybe as bad as ours last season.  Manning just doesn't have enough mobility to play behind that OL.  He'll either get benched for good or end up hurt.

See, this is what happens to a qb that doesn't finger point after a 1st down run or celebrate after a td. Karma for not enjoying it.

In all seriousness his neck injury is causing problems with his throwing power. Balls stay too long in the air, not enough zip.

Yep and his leg strength is all but sapped from the way he's changed his throwing motion since the neck injury.

It's tough to see. He's one of the best to play the position.

Yep. The Man has had a career that any QB would love to experience. I hate that we have to see a legend like him fall so hard. His heart is still in it but his body just can't keep up.

Like others have said...I have no idea what he or the coaching staff and Elway thought they saw or thought would happen....I mean he totally fell apart at the end of the last two seasons and couldn't toss the rock 10 yards down the field and even those passes looked like ducks.

I mean he literally winds up and takes 3 steps into the throw only for it to flutter and wobble for 7 yards....he's done...beyond done...totally shot...finito...
