After defeating the hapless New Orleans Saints, Redskins fans have new found confidence in their team. 

Here are some highlights, and low lights, from their message board.

I wish this was a home game, we haven't played nearly as good on the road, but sooner or later that has to change, right? I think this Redskins team is growing up faster than many expected, and if they can limit the mistakes on the road, they can pull off this upset. The Redskins have to win this game and next week if they want to stay in the race and take over 1st place in the division, the Panthers don't, they are well ahead. Redskins pull off the upset!

Fairly valid point here. The Redskins must win to stay in the playoff hunt. The Panthers situation is not as urgent. However, the Redskins have not won on the road in roughly a year.

Yeah, they are 9-0 and overrated. 

Anyways, this Panthers team is too experienced now to overlook any opponent. It isn't like this is their first playoff run.

I'm not sure what to expect in this one because the last two times we've played them we had two QBs who hated getting the ball out quickly.

They don't score a ton, but they also don't give up a ton of points. 

I'd like to think if it's close at the end, and we have the ball last, we win.  I have the same feeling for Carolina, though.

I think as long as the offensive weapons bring their hands with them, we have a shot. 

I don't have a score, but I see us winning this one in an ugly throwback.

Panthers just put up 27 points on the road against a much better defense. Not sure if I buy a low scoring throwback game.

They are very good, and very disciplined.  While we are improved from last year, we are not yet.  Also, this game is on the road, where we are terrible, rather than at home, where we are unbeatable.

LOL at that last line. Must be tough to be a fan of a team you never predict a victory for.

Bit of a reach. There will be a decent number of Redskins fans at the game. Maybe 20%, just like every other east coast team who can access stubhub.

I bought my tickets in the preseason before there was any expectancy of doing better than 9-6. I'm so excited to be part of the Panthers undefeated streak and I'll predict a victory, 30-13. Only sad thing is that my grandmother isn't doing well and may pass away any day now so a funeral could stop me from going.  Let's hope its at most 20% redskins fans.

These are getting better and better every week. Only 20 teams in 50 years have ever started a season 9-0 and we are still considered overrated by the fan bases of teams who haven't made the playoffs in years. I guess if you have to trick yourself intor believing your shitty team has a good chance to pull off the upset saying the other team is overrated in spite of all evidence to the contrary is the way to go.

I guess it will never end, the opposing fans thinking that they have the formula to stopping Cam Newton and this rushing attack.  One doesn't simply throw more defenders in the box foolishly thinking that Cam can't throw the football.  The coaches know it, but the fans are clueless week in and week out.

Getting Norwell back will keep Cam clean in this one.

And shouldn't Redskin fans feel ashamed and dirty talking about ANY QB who can only run and not throw it from the pocket with intelligence??

I think the Texans beating the Bengals proved as a reminder to the Panthers to not take anyone lightly so you can throw that trap  game theory out the window.

I find it comical Redskin fans trash talking and running their mouth. They beat the Rams, Eagles and Saints. Teams all below .500. They are also 0-4 on the road.

I guess they want to trash talk now since they will not be able to come 4PM Sunday and beyond.

We're 3rd in the league in points per game at 28.3, but their mediocre defense is gonna hold us to 19? Don't think so.

Won't say they don't get a sack or two (maybe), but keep him out of the endzone and embarrass him? Not gonna happen.

      Yes. I went to those games instead of selling In 2018, it was hot  as hell and the Panthers had some ‘entertainment on the side of the stadium, like a street fair…I have never seen so many seriously obese people, men and women, in cowboy leggings and shirts   I swear, it was traumatic  I said to my friend with me ‘dear god, Cam. In the name of all that is holy, please win  this home game, if you never win another one, to shut these people up.   I stayed in a hotel sat and Sunday near stadium. Sweet Jesus  obnoxious …of course,when they lose,, there isn’t one sign of cowboys anything   worst fans ever,  they will be in Charlotte in force because even at the escalated price in Charlotte, , it was still cheaper than attending in Jerry ville

      Very true about Pennington but I don’t think anyone traded a haul to move up in the draft to get him, that’s what gets me about young. I mean essentially we gave up cmc and moore, our two best offensive players, one of which is arguably one of the best in the league. Gave them up for a guy who hasn’t shown any reason for us to give up the haul to get him. It’s year three and we are seeing the same mistakes he was making year one game one.
