I think you misunderstood the statement. Delaire will not start over ant of those guys.

Horton wasn't active today.  Still on the PS.

Allen is effective against the run and great sniffing out screens and knowing what the offense is doing.  He doesnt have the power he did have but his veteran presence is appreciated.  At this point he can't play every down and needs to be rotated in when the other team is throwing the ball like Arizona does.  We will need several guys bringing it on every play to keep p the pressure on Palmer.  Whoever is doing the best job needs to get more reps.  Allen was very good today in the first half.  This might be his last chance to get to the Superbowl.  I appreciate his willingness to put everything on the line and give 100% like Davis did when he went up for that onside kick. giving everything for each other

I love Allens heart and appreciate what he has brought to our team.  I wish we could have had him in his prime, obviously.
