Where does Carson Palmer rank in QBs the Panthers have faced this season?

Looking at career or this year? He is having a career-best year, but I think if you look at those we've faced this year, I wouldn't mark him in the top three.

I'd rank them: Brees, Rogers, Luck, Eli Manning (hard to argue with the Super Bowl rings), Wilson, Ryan, Palmer, Bradford, Romo...

Both Winston and Mariota have the opportunity to really zoom up there, but they're rookies so it's not really fair to judge them in the crowd. Bortles is on his way up as well. We'll leave Cousins, McCown and Mallet in the unranked category.

I just don't see him as being the big QB threat they are making him out to be. He's good, he's experienced and he's been coached to play his best. I just don't see him as elite, but more of a benchmark QB, i.e. if your QB is at Palmer level and above, you've got a good starting QB. Below Palmer on the list, you aren't going to be competitive week in and week out.

Palmer is Matt Ryan with better receivers.  A career filled with underachieving and big game chokes, that's Matt Ryan.  I don't see how anyone is worried about this loser coming on the road and winning a conference title game.

good comparison

    • Winning games and be a +500 team are good. But the goal is to win Super Bowl.  Chiefs had Alex Smith, went to playoff twice and still replaced him.   BY as of now: - To many fumbles - Completion in the intermediate range is just far below acceptable - Not enough of a deep throw threat....   The stats you try use is deceiving.  Catchable......  That is an opinion. Show me the completion %. And also, how does BY compare to other QBs using the stats you cited. Oh... ranked at 27

    • The Entitlement Paradox: When Winning Isn't Enough for Panther fans.    Just the other season(s) we were praying for wins by any means. Brought in every run of the mill QB you could think of.  We know all sides of the ball was bad like egregious bad. However some how we have won 5 games and TOXIC ENTITLEMENT has emerged.    We are a team that has to take wins by anymeans nothing has changed. Keep pounding means it aint gonna be perfect!!    Some panther fans have now developed a toxic entitlement where even victories feel insufficient, demanding flawless performance, or perfection, which stems from historical success in which we dont have any lol. This mindset poisons communities by fostering relentless criticism, harassment, and ingratitude that undermine team morale and alienate casual supporters. For the new Carolina Panthers, this could manifest as fans booing Bryce Young after gritty wins for low passing yards despite low turnovers, pressuring tepper into premature changes mid-rebuild, or driving away talent through online abuse!! eroding the positive momentum from their recent 4-game streak has brought us. Trust and believe the players do see your toxicity.    Anyways here are some positive stats.      Most Accurate QB on... 20+ Yard Throws 1. Drake Maye (79.2%) 2. Sam Darnold (79.2%) 3. Bryce Young (75.0%) 10-19 Yard Throws 1. Jaxson Dart (88.0%) 2. Jayden Daniels (82.9%) 3. Drake Maye (80.7%) 0-9 Yard Throws 1. Drake Maye (92.9%) 2. Spencer Rattler (92.6%) 3. Bryce Young (91.7%) @FantasyPtsData
