Took JNo awhile to develop. Even though it feels like this dude is young, he is already 28 years old. Right or wrong, nobody's viewing a 28 year old athlete as "entering his prime". So even though this is his chance at a big 2nd contract, age-wise it's almost like making a huge 3rd contract offer on a guy who's almost 30. Can't do that.

Still doesn't make sense, we had leverage over j no, no reason to rescind the tag imho but we will see if it works out, I think it made the situation more messy by doing so

...and don't count Norman out, rescinding the tag allows him to talk to other teams and determine his market value. Like CJ he may decide he's better off staying put.

The players rely on their agents like we would an attorney. They use their knowledge and experience to make the best decisions for the client. Sometimes they make mistakes or reach a little and G-Money wasn't biting. Sucks for everyone right now but I have a feeling all party's involved will be just fine in the end.
