Both are cheap and high quality

You just reminded me. I need to do some jersey shopping. I think it's time to retire my 89. I'm thinking a Thomas Davis Sr one. The didn't have it on the team shop last time I looked. But I found another guy who the Huddle vouches for that deals in cheap very high quality merchandice. Gonna give him a shot.

Lol the saints have tumbled so hard.

I remember the day when we had over invested in-players and we got hurney-enated!! But it took a drastic change when got Gettlemagic in the helm for a few years, now we have some money..Now the Saints are in the same boat we were in with no cap room.. shop smart.. hoping to echo the Gettleman talent search for cheap!!

Just remember it took a while for the Panthers to reach the pit known as cap hell back then.

Taints will reach that point real soon.

They can drag this out a few more years before they either blow it up and start taking some cap hits or slowly start to lose players to FA.

ps: I'll enjoy watching either play out

They've got both Hakeem Nicks and Denarius Moore in for tryouts  (PFT)

Don't scare me like that!

I thought they had read the huddle and  figured out all you need to do to beat the Panthers is stack the box, contain cam and bracket olsen.

Yes it really pisses me off that the team shop doesn't carry #58.

I had one custom made last year. I love repping TD!

i believe the very beginning of it for us was prior to 2005 with dan morgan getting his big extension over witherspoon who was allowed to walk.  it would take 5-6 years before the whole thing finally tanked.

being up against the cap isn't that big of a deal just by itself.  being cap strapped with a loaded roster and a front office that can develop talent well is fine because salaries can be dumped and there won't be much of a drop off when the next guy steps up.  that's the denver broncos.

being cap strapped in a situation where the other shoe is going to drop soon (like, say, the quarterback holding it all together being close to retirement) with a front office that has historically had problems filling out the bottom half of the roster is a much bigger problem.  those were hurney's panthers and what are now loomis' saints.

    • There was some pretty egregious missed calls vs the Chiefs in the Lions game, especially Kelce. The completion where he clearly used the ground to catch the ball. The hold in front of the ref as Pacheco ran by where the defender was trying to turn around and couldnt because Kelce had him by the jersey. Mahomes openly taunting after scoring a TD. 0 penalties after double digit the week before. Cmon.
    • People get trade happy and look at resources as barter items. They fail to see them as resources to be used to our benefit rather than someone else's. Right now, Chuba and Rico are massive benefits to us and a strong rushing attack so greatly benefits any passer, much less a young one like Bryce still is.  And the better our running game, the more our offense can eat up the clock, the less time our defense is on the field. And that is priceless, too. Don't mess with the running game. Don't mess with the receivers. Maybe look at our O-line and think we may have hit on something good during these injuries. Look at our D-line and seem some strength evolving there. Our secondary has its good spots and some that are still developing. Our linebacking corps did well this last outing. Our special teams are on a major upswing as of this past week. Heck, even our QB is showing us a little something right now that we can build on. Perhaps putting out a yard sale sign right now might be less advantageous than looking at the team and saying, "You are all part of something good that is happening. We want to see that continue to grow."
