Earl Thomas Looking For Vengeance On Cam Newton

Earl uses that phrasing with everything.

-random people talking trash about the latest Star Wars movie-

*Earl says:   "I felt like they were talking to me personally. "

--random people talk about the season finale of Sleepy Hollow-

*Earl says: "I felt like they were talking to me personally".

-random people rip on the Rams and Cardinals-

*Earl says: "I felt like they were talking to me personally".

Wasnt it Earl AND Sherman that got owned on national TV by Cams alternate slash wide receiver ego?  Meaning Kelvin Benjamin?

Wasnt Benjamin missing from this last season of torment for the Seahawks?

Isnt that what we only dropped a 30 burger and not a 50 burger on them?

So we give you a Benjamin and you only gave us a busted shoulder?  Sounds like an uneven trade,.....

What a cry baby

Honestly, Seattle and the Cards should refrain from talking.  Not because they aren't good, both are very good teams who can give us fits.  They shouldn't be sour about our Super Bowl run because both teams' vaunted Defenses got SMOKED horribly by the Panthers.  It's not an Earl Thomas or Richard Sherman or Bobby Wagner thing.  We were the unstoppable force last year.

Now they have a chance to try to stop us this year.  Maybe they can, maybe they won't.  It doesn't change the fact that we are in their heads.  They are thinking about laying the hurt to the Panthers, obsessing about it.  We are going to line up a bunch of 6,4+ receivers with a monster QB and a still effective Stewart.  They really need to think about how they are going to stop all of our receivers and our running game.

(and we need to hope and pray that our young DBs learn fast and that the coaches confidence in our pass rush isn't misplaced!)

When did Cam ever talk smack about their defense?

This is confusing to me as well. Don't know how he interpreted cam saying "they run the same defense" as talking smack. But hey too bad they don't make band aids for feelings

So a Star KK sandwich with a taste of Butler to go?

Kony and CJ could have gaudy sack numbers just because of out interior DL flushing QBs right to them. If Butler and Solaia turn out good, our rotational guys will be better than a lot of teams starters.

    • We don't have to tear down Dak to appreciate what Bryce did yesterday. Dak had 0 running game. If the cowboys were better, he'd be a legit MVP candidate if he keeps playing this way.  They did it with Ceedee last year, but they do a better job of anybody we play consistently of getting their best receiver off Jaycee.  Bryce was good too. If we just catch the ball that was intercepted, we probably win by 7+, and Bryce goes over 200 yards passing.  Biggest shift the last few weeks has been play calling. I thought Canales abandoned the run game way to early at times last year. This year he really seems to be sticking with it.  I still think Chuba is better at making 4 yards when there's nothing there, but Rico is better at making 30 yards when there's 6 there. I like the direction. Hopefully we can get Moton, Sanders and Coker back and really be dangerous. Our play action game is pretty deadly right now.  Unrelated: My favorite quality about Bryce right now is his ability to see the defensive hold and throw the ball there. He EXPOSES the officials when they don't call it. That one on Tetaroia yesterday late in the game was a bad miss on their part.
    • That sacks allowed number lookin juicy!
    • This is a game the Panthers should win... just the sort of game they lose. The Panthers have a bad habit that goes back years of playing down to the competition's level only to mess around and lose the game. The Jets game should be taken very seriously! But I want to enjoy the fact that they beat the Cowboys for at least another day or so!
