This is how bad things are between Von Miller and his FO

Von Miller reposts Ware's photo and crops out Elway. It's ice cold between them.

For you old folk out there, kids use social media to make a statement. Cause real men nowadays use social media to show up people.

Looking at at the current situation of his contract, one can assume that he's trying to make a statement out of this. Seems likely.

Or it could be me simply just wishing the donkey's downfall and this is all just a bunch of stuff out of nothing. Pretty sure something similar has happened to Cam on a post of his, when he made a typing error.

Discuss.

i mean say what you will about dave gettleman

at least he's not getting cropped out of photos

I've been assured that all the players who talk about how they're happy to be here hate his guts and only feign happiness under threat of being cut.

I assume it's true, because otherwise that'd mean the people saying it are complete morons who know absolutely nothing and only make s--t up because they're desperate for any sort of attention they can get.

It shocks me how quickly these players act like little bitches when things go sideways...its just business and both sides are just trying to get the best deal they can.

Well to be fair, it's not like owners can't go the bitch route too. If he had missed a few key tackles/sacks in the SB, it's not like they wouldn't bring it up during negotiations

    • He's played great and it was a win-win (rare free agent) for both parties.  One of the points is he hasn't made enough difference to "waste" 35 million on. Another point is by the time Panthers are hitting their prime, he would have taken snaps away from young WRs/TEs/RBs. "Thus" in the long term, hurting the teams new future "window."  But I dare think of the monkey poo of a offense the Panthers had without him the past 2 years. Lack of talent leads to many problems, including paying a 35 year old to be somewhat respectable. Hes one of few that cared enough and made a effort. Plus you know he's done great stuff in many other ways for the team, community juggernaut, leadership, etc.  Judgement is for AT and his 3 year panther career!!
    • But it has gotten a little wacky. RBs-https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/contracts/_/position/rb     A couple months ago iggles made Bark the highest guaranteed RB, jeanty was until then. That's what matters the guarantee. A rookie never played a down was the leader, until iggles howie made things right.  If a safety gets drafted in the top 8 or so, he would have the highest money too or very close to it.    Add in TEs and C too.    Even with the fixed %, the numbers are getting too much for a player that's not proven themselves.     Plus anytime a QB is drafted it screws up the contracts for players around and if next year a punter gets drafted at the same 90th spot, they want the same contract with the 5.7% increase. Teams would be laughing.    Its just reached this point. Another 10 years and I bet the vets will be crying.
    • It's 8 million over 4 years.... I'd bend a knee... there are much worse FA contracts being handed out.  Gives teams more incentive to draft well. The Browns and Texans basically screwed the rest of the league.  Someone may want to tell that commie Jimmy Haslam to stop with all this guaranteed money.  If he keeps this up the NFL is going to be screwed.
