Pre-season is over and we are just a few days away from the 2016 panthers kicking it off. Let's see your official game by game and record predictions.

Heres mine:

at Denver:  Win

San Francisco:  Win

Minnesota:  Win

at Atlanta:  Loss

Tampa Bay:  Win

at New Orleans:  Loss

Arizona:  Win

at Los Angeles:  Win

Kansas City:  Win

New Orleans:  Win

at Oakland:  Win

at Seattle:  Loss

San Diego:  Win

Washington:  Win

Atlanta:  Win

at Tampa Bay:  Loss

I've got us at 12-4 and the two seed in the playoffs behind a Green Bay team that gets the luxury of playing the NFC east, AFC south, and divisional games against cutler, Stafford, and Bradford

i also hate the thought of going 3-3 in the division but the Falcons beat us last year, the saints played is tough both times even with an awful defense and I think the Bucs may be a wildcard team fighting in week 17 for a spot

9-7 have a bad feeling midseason we will have a major meltdown. We will stumble into the playoffs.  Playoffs we will come out and dominate.  Won't be pretty but will get our first Super bowl win.

You have us losing to New Orleans, Tampa, Oakland and Atlanta but winning the Super Bowl with a 9-7 record?

Yes all 4 teams are going to be tough. Also like I said something is going to happen to put us in a rut.  But come playoffs the team will rally.

I like this but winning the last game and flipping the Atlanta ones and beating NO at home.

11-5

I feel like our floor is 8-8 with 8 highly possible losses, but I predict we go 12-4 with losses to @ATL, KC, @SEA, @TB

There's no way we go undefeated as much as would like that. Last year we were the suprise and people kept saying we were going to lose and we just didn't besides the falcons 2nd game. Now this year all the expectations are on and the targets have been painted, other teams know who the Panthers are and are going to be motivated to use them as a measuring stick as how good their team is.

    • Per Bill Barnwell  Broncos part ways with a CB on the roster bubble Broncos get: 2026 seventh-round pick Panthers get: CB Damarri Mathis The Broncos have a rare problem among NFL teams: too many cornerbacks. ESPN's Jeff Legwold projects they could move on from Mathis, who was very good as a rookie in 2022 before losing his starting job after the defense's slow start in 2023. He played just 27 defensive snaps after Week 6 that season and 80 more across 10 games in 2024. With the Broncos using their 2025 first-round pick on cornerback Jahdae Barron, they could justify moving on from Mathis, who might not be active on game days even if he sticks around. Mathis' best season came with defensive coordinator Ejiro Evero in Denver, and he hasn't been able to reach those same heights since Evero left for Carolina. The Panthers are set with Jaycee Horn, Mike Jackson and nickel corner Chau Smith-Wade as their three starting corners, but Mathis could push the 28-year-old Jackson and serve as Carolina's primary reserve on the outside. Mathis is owed $3.4 million in 2025, so Denver might essentially buy a draft pick by eating some of that cash, similar to what the Commanders did when they sent running back Brian Robinson Jr. to the 49ers.
    • They can get fuged for a 6th and 7th. Doesn't make sense for us for anything less than a 4th and them paying a majority of his salary.
