Official Panthers at Falcons Gameday Thread...

Ok y'all.  Just want to let you know I'm making a big sacrifice for today's W.

I'm staying at my house rather than going in to my office 10 minutes away.  Here at my house I have lousy internet, so can only listen to the radio audio, not watch the live gamepass broadcast.

But, I watched gamepass live at my office for our two losses, and was at home listening to the radio for our win against SF.  So I'm doing my part to do what works and help us get the W.

Also, this means I won't be doing any kind of game tweet thread during the game today..  Did them vs Denver & Min, but not against SF.

Hope the rest of the Huddle joins me in sticking to wining routines!

I can always watch the replay tomorrow afternoon..  I'm ok with listening to the radio this week.

I was at the office far too much this past week, two mornings starting at 6:45 a.m..  And the coming weeks look to be as busy.   So, I'm actually glad to be at home today.  I'm enjoying the time with the local family I share a house with.  Playing word games with the kids, and about to make a batch of Nutella filled crepes which has become a Sunday tradition.

    • No one way to do it, it does appear that with the bigger draft picks of the last 5 years…..majority haven’t steered clear of young QBs on the roster being their hopeful guy. Especially past their rookie seasons but even some the biggest ones have had it early.   As far as Andy Dalton, the two young guys he has “mentored”…..have had very rough NFL starts.  Which really ask the why the heck is Dalton here.   He doesn’t really check any box.  No young potential.  Can’t step in and win.  And his mentor track record with Fields and now Bryce is bad
    • I had thought the Panthers might let him play out his contract this year and hope he stays healthy. If not draft a left tackle and move Ekwonu to right tackle.
    • Frankly, if most teams in the NFL lose their starting QB for a significant amount of time, they're screwed. The fantasy is that one has a future Tony Romo or a Nick Foles that can carry a stacked team. The reality is that you might get roughly 3~5 games out of your backup before it all falls apart. Remember all of Peyton Manning's backups? Utterly terrible. Speaking of backup QB's, Raiders may need one. https://www.nfl.com/news/raiders-qb-aidan-o-connell-suffered-fractured-wrist-in-preseason-finale-expected-to-be-out-6-8-weeks
