James Bradberry - Legend in the Making

Look at that. James Bradberry, the man - the myth - the legend - comes out from one end of the field to help bail out Coleman with a huge pass deflection. Shows exceptional instincts, knowledge of the game, and amazing skills. He reads Drew Brees, knows exactly where he's throwing, and goes out and makes a play while Coleman was left in the dust.

Just stunningly beautiful.

He comes up and makes plays. Sure, he doesn't get the interceptions that everyone loves and adores, but with all these pass deflections and covering he does at this stage in his rookie year, imagine his future.

James Bradberry is living up to the hype. Amari Cooper is about to have a rough time against the new 24.

(New post coming up real soon! Stay tuned!)

I'm not trying to make lazy comparisons, but he seriously just reminds me a lot of Chris Gamble.  Between his demeanor and playing style.  That is a very good thing.  He was a late second round pick, playing one of the hardest positions to learn at the next level.  There is reason to be excited

    • Yuck.  I still kind of like Herbert but these playoff performances are rough....
    • I feel like this was the case with River and McDermott defenses as well, we just had the jimmies and the joes to overcome these deficiencies with all pro players at edge and linebacker positions.  Even then, was extremely frustrated in 2015 when we'd let team come back from 20+ pt deficits playing prevent only to barely win at the end.
    • We need to move on soon and just use Bryce as a bridge to find our next guy. I'd like to see how this offense works with Canales hand picking his own guy. Bryce holds this offense back a lot considering you draft the first pick to carry your team and be your best player. We invested heavily for Bryce and need everything to go right just to have him look like a solid game manager sometimes. When he plays well he can look decent or mid, but when he plays bad he looks like a bottom 5 qb in league (backups included). It's not worth it, especially if we need to pay him soon, which means we have to skimp all over the roster. If the defenses don't hand it to us on a silver platter Atlanta style then we struggle big time. Defenses don't respect the offense at all. With Cam we could have the worst offensive talent and I'd still think we had a shot in any game we played. If Bryce is facing a 3rd and 10 I pretty much wave the white flag and don't think we can make that first down.
