Drone caught filming Falcons practice

tbh a New England dismantling of the Falcons that later turns out to be a result of blatant cheating is the best outcome of this super bowl for me. Falcons get denied and cry forever, and Patriots' entire dynasty is thrown into illegitimacy.

Best case scenario.

ill only add this, fans revolt and NFL enters a reformation period and transitions to a renaissance where Cam dominates for the next 8-10 years.

If it turns out it was the Falcons, then nvm. However, there is always something going on when it comes to the Pats and big games. Would not surprise me at all it turns out to be theirs and then they're slapped on the wrists. This is why I laugh whenever people say Brady is the GOAT. It's pretty easy to win Super Bowls when you know the defense's play book. Even then, all of their SB wins are still close. I do not believe they would have as many SB wins if not for their cheating.

Eh. They cheated in ours and it still counts.

    • From Bluesky: https://bsky.app/profile/nutshellsportz.bsky.social/post/3mo3rkrcezs2e  A look at Run Threat Rate across the NFL Run Threat Rate is the percentage of plays where a team either runs the ball or uses play action. This compares each team’s rate when leading or tied versus when trailing to show how much they abandon the run when playing from behind.
    • That's the current dilemma on both parties at the moment. If Ickey comes back too soon, he won't be 100% and his play will suffer. Leading to a potential decrease in his contract. If Ickey is unable to play and sits the entire 2026 season, his contract will still take the same hit since it tells all 32 team that he is not fully recovered. On the Panthers side, I'm sure they would want to keep Ickey if he is fully recovered but he is obviously in a contract year. They don't want to re-sign him to a massive deal since it be too risky and they know if Ickey is able to return to form.  Best case scenario, the Panthers wants to offer Ickey a 1-2 year heavily incentive based prove it deal. However, Ickey would most likely decline the offer and test the market as  another team can come in and offer Ickey a better deal if they are desperate enough for O-line help.
    • They have been giving him a lot of snaps at RT to give TMo some relief in camp. I think that will continue for the time being.
