Well NE is on their schedule and the game is set to be in NE, so it better be the season opener. Only fair.

Opponents and venues are already decided. They play in NE, it's just a matter of what week.

The only other game that seems like it would have any sort of shot would be the Texans because of the playoff rematch. Still....that won't draw anywhere near as much as the a SB rematch will.

If atlanta opens up on the road and loses that game, their season will be over. But since they're getting a new stadium, watch them give them a prime time home game to open the season against the fugin dolphins

Chiefs would as well, everyone wanted to see those two in the playoffs but the Steelers upset them. I agree with your second point though.

Ron Rivera bitched about it so much last year that they're going to learn from the mistake and not punish the Falcons. So, they're going to make us do it.

I was going to say Texans too but based off the assumption they trade for Romo early on in the offseason.

yeah, but they don't play the Pats in Atlanta, so if they open up there it will be against someone else. I really hope the league makes them open up in NE though
