Fallout from the biggest choke on turf...

Falcons are firing DC and DL coach.

This means they will start the season with two new coordinators and at least one new positions coach.

I guess they were not happy with getting zero pressure on Brady when it mattered?

Anywho, Atlanta is in real danger of a multi season superbowl hangover it seems.

ATL defense played well IMO.

Not their fault they had to defend 90+ plays against the GOAT and had no legs in the 4th and in overtime.

This whole thing reeks of Arty Blank.

This is just like when people on here blame our defense for giving up leads when they're on the field the whole half cuz the offense can't sustain drives. Blank is an idiot

It is puzzling. It does seem Blank wanted heads to roll after being embarrassed. I guess it was the defenses fault that Shanahan didn't just run and kick a field goal to win the Superbowl.

Well, if your defense allows the offense to methodically move down the field and rack up those 99 plays, then that defense is at least partially their fault.  New England is not a big play team, that is how they play.  I do agree though that both the offense and defense were at fault and that passing the ball at the 25 or so yard line was a ridiculous call.

Young team gets to the Super Bowl and loses the game in the 4th qtr.  Nerves, youth?  Who knows

But, they were good enough to get there and good enough for 3 qtrs to win.  The owner however, seems to be one who also looks youthful and nervous by wiping out most of his staff.  Temper tantrum for a team within 1 qtr of winning the Super Bowl.  30 other teams could not get anywhere close to that success.

For the Panthers, we could use a bit more of the accountability and for the Falcons, a bit less.  No reach vs over reach
