Thomas Davis is making the announcement for the 8th pick and this dawned on me..

The last two times he's announced the pick, we drafted defensive players...is this a coincidence or a pattern?

 

Personally, if they pick a defensive player, I won't be mad. We're getting a top talent either way.

I think THOMAS Davis announcing Solomon THOMAS, would be appropriate.

Not a fan of Solomon Thomas, not sure what everyone sees in him that they do not see in the other DEs. He is no doubt a combine warrior, but he is not much of an edge rusher. It is what it is though. I am sure Cam Newton will be looking sadly at the TV wondering why his side of the ball gets no love in the 1st round. Just a prediction for how the night goes.

I doubt he falls to us. He's arguably the best Dlinemen. Myles just gets hype because of his freakish physique. Barnett is a better prospect but Myles has more "Potential" and a "Higher Ceiling." 

Solomon Thomas in this Defense would make us go to the SB for several years. Thomas, Lotuleilei, Short, Peppers. Rotating with Johnson and Addison. fug man...The kicker he could kick inside as well and have Butler, Thomas, Peppers, Addison. Or Short, Lotuleilei, Thomas, Peppers. The pass rush is never ending...holy poo.

I doubt he falls too. I guess since I'm dreaming, I'll dream big. You mentioned Barnett. I also would not mind if he wound up a Panther. Not too much longer!

Waste there  so many players better than him that should be there at 8
