Some things I took away from that article.

- IF I was a betting man I would guess the team that called them for a trade was the Broncos or Texans.

- If Howard was ranked so high I wonder why the FO didn't consider trading back into the low teens to get him. Based on the fact that they were doing interviews at that time they appeared to never even considered the idea.

- Our GM didn't know what San Diego's needs were? I guess when you have that many employees under you its ok let others get that info but you still didn't know it until they were on the clock?

I don't think he was asking because he didn't know their needs. I think it was more of an anxious question he was asking out loud.

Liked that piece by Max. Good behind the scenes look.

If Howard makes it past TB they may have tried. TB wasn't gonna trade with us. That meant we would have had to get to 18. Would have been hard to do with pick 40 and something else.

Sounded more to me like it was just a way to get the conversation started on LA because Dave was nervous they would take McCaffrey. I'm pretty sure he knew their needs...

    • Winning games and be a +500 team are good. But the goal is to win Super Bowl.  Chiefs had Alex Smith, went to playoff twice and still replaced him.   BY as of now: - To many fumbles - Completion in the intermediate range is just far below acceptable - Not enough of a deep throw threat....   The stats you try use is deceiving.  Catchable......  That is an opinion. Show me the completion %. And also, how does BY compare to other QBs using the stats you cited. Oh... ranked at 27

    • The Entitlement Paradox: When Winning Isn't Enough for Panther fans.    Just the other season(s) we were praying for wins by any means. Brought in every run of the mill QB you could think of.  We know all sides of the ball was bad like egregious bad. However some how we have won 5 games and TOXIC ENTITLEMENT has emerged.    We are a team that has to take wins by anymeans nothing has changed. Keep pounding means it aint gonna be perfect!!    Some panther fans have now developed a toxic entitlement where even victories feel insufficient, demanding flawless performance, or perfection, which stems from historical success in which we dont have any lol. This mindset poisons communities by fostering relentless criticism, harassment, and ingratitude that undermine team morale and alienate casual supporters. For the new Carolina Panthers, this could manifest as fans booing Bryce Young after gritty wins for low passing yards despite low turnovers, pressuring tepper into premature changes mid-rebuild, or driving away talent through online abuse!! eroding the positive momentum from their recent 4-game streak has brought us. Trust and believe the players do see your toxicity.    Anyways here are some positive stats.      Most Accurate QB on... 20+ Yard Throws 1. Drake Maye (79.2%) 2. Sam Darnold (79.2%) 3. Bryce Young (75.0%) 10-19 Yard Throws 1. Jaxson Dart (88.0%) 2. Jayden Daniels (82.9%) 3. Drake Maye (80.7%) 0-9 Yard Throws 1. Drake Maye (92.9%) 2. Spencer Rattler (92.6%) 3. Bryce Young (91.7%) @FantasyPtsData
