Lots of linebackers on that list. That's to be expected with the Saints offense that can get into dink and dunk mode. The difference now is that we have better players to do the same.

To be fair, LBrs would be the easiest to pick on, especially on delayed routes by the RB's and we know how much DB loves throwing those under 5 yard passes on the quick. And if they are in zone dropping back in shell coverage that underneath stuff is way too easy. I'm surprised it wasnt one of fourth to seventh string CBs in the first contest.

You do realize these stats aren't indicative of their play, rather the fact that linebackers will be targeted on dump-offs because that's what most NFL QBs do.

For linebackers, yes they are good in coverage. These stats arent even considering whether it's man or zone. When our guys dropped back in zone coverage it's easy for them to have the 3 yard dump offs.

I mean, he's one of the best QBs of all time, I'm not surprised in the least he picked on our LBs in coverage.

Because he's one of the best QBs of all time.

You see a lot of linebackers on there because we run a ball control offense. A lot of running back catches, drags, slants, seams, and then the shot plays in between. Not a surprise that LBs are his most targetted.
