Panthers beat reporters ranked:

1. Steve Reed (pre-AP)

4. Jourdan Rodrigue

5. Darin Gantt

6. Steve Reed (post-AP)

7. Jonathan Jones

8. Charles Chandler

9. Pat Yasinskas

10. Joe Person

1000. David Newton

Thoughts?

Joe Person is too damn high. Hell, David Newton is better than him, although he's too damn high too.

It’s Voth, Gantt, and lately Igo (i don’t care if he considers himself a member of the media he is in the know).  The rest absolutely suck and routinely get scooped by National Beat Writers when it comes to Panthers news and info.   I look to the beat writers for inside info, not the stories.  90% of people who read the Observer articles probably dont even watch the game on Sundays.

They get paid to criticize a man in the arena

I don't think any of them are particularly interesting or cutting edge. Ive heard a lot of boring rhetorical questions, a lot of ego, and a corny environment.

Someone write a column on how racist, sexist, evil that personal opinion is that I truly don't give 3 shits about.

but its cool. whatever they are passionate about or feel they have the platform to express.. good for them?

    • I’m old enough to remember when I wanted to draft Njoku We brought back Mitchell and officially kept Tremble. Mitchell Evans isn’t going anywhere. Sanders who knows, he was awful last year I fully agree we need a better TE. This room is awful Njoku would be a massive help in the red zone. However it really seems like Dan and the FO prefer to go young on offense
    • You’re underselling Loveland imo. He’s so damn good. You can line him out wide and count on him to win 1 v 1. I don’t see that from Sadiq. Loveland is going to go over 1000 yards next season I’m not overly asking for a WR3. It’s just one of the few directions Morgan could go in round 1.  Let’s say Thieneman, Fano and Cooper are all on the board it’s a tough decision. I just don’t see how this team would take Sadiq over some of those guys given the way they run their offense. Our tight end room is easily bottom of the league so I can definitely see why someone would want a tight end though. At one point during the season I was on the Sadiq train as well. I just don’t think value wise for us specifically it makes sense given our team as a whole As far as tight ends go in this draft I really like Max Klare. Very smooth mover
    • Some of you need some serious help with the way 9 lives rent free in your heads I know for a fact, Dan loves Bryce. Bryce is his guy. This offense is very young and they’re asking Bryce to do a lot. With Idzik taking over playcalling duties it’s a move that is another step in the process of Bryce taking control of the offense. 24 years old. This youth movement on offense and putting more on 9’s shoulders is going to pay off in the long run
