”As first reported by RebelGrove.com following the Egg Bowl Thursday night, Carolina Panthers offensive coordinator Mike Shula has interest in Ole Miss, a report we can confirm through conversations with sources in coaching, agent and media circles this week. However, it’s unclear if that interest is reciprocated. Shula spent four seasons as the head coach of Alabama from 2003-2006, where he compiled a 26-23 record and twice finished third in the SEC West.”

Yea when reading that it certainly sounds like they are laughing hysterically  at him as a prospective coach or just treating him like kids treat cooties.

Either way please take him and do with him as you will.

Maybe just the thought of the banner was too much for him. I'm all for a new OC, but his timing is awful. We're coming off of a bye going into the home stretch fighting for a playoff spot, and instead of having his head stuck up his rear, it'll be miles away in Mississippi. Great, just great.

Shula as far away as possible is for the best.

      I’m actually fine with our TE group. I would like to see us upgrade at ILB, maybe safety and CB.   I think we are good at WR. I thought Corley could have been a good player but I guess he wasn’t doing good at all.   I came across this article about Corley from today. I know sometimes a change of scenery can really help turn around a player and we’ve seen plenty of players from the jets end up being good other places.       I was really rooting for him after seeing that video about his struggles. I always thought he was a solid and underrated player.   I thought for sure he would have made the team after hearing all the hype and how he made that overthrown catch by Plummer behind the line and still was able to gain a yard or two off it. Plummer really overthrew him each time yet he was able to still not lose yards. I think he still could play in the nfl. I think he may need a few months to get into top form though. Hopefully he will get signed to another team.
