Does anyone else on here not give a F about college football?

From about early teens until about mid 20s I use to follow CAL and always watched the Rose Bowl at 25yr I got married and just didn’t have the time anymore like with many other things.

Maybe if I would have went to a regular collage or my wife I would have stuck with it, it would have been kind of cool to have that attachment to a school, but I went to culinary school and she went to UCSC.

I also get the watching it just to watch it thing without having to 'worry' or whatever but my family/friends have strong ties to/attended several good schools so I can root for and have a good time with several crowds as well. Me/Step dad Clemson, Wife LSU, Brother Florida, GrandMother UNC - Grandfather Duke(yea that happened). My best friend from HS and his wife went to Alabama his dad went to Pitt. Big college sports fans round here.

Right here. Couldn't care less about college football. I've tried to get into it many times, if only to have a better idea of who the best prospects are for draft time. I recognize the objective appeal of college football, but I just can't get into it.

I watch the NFL, follow it religiously, watch college when I can (not as much as I used to), heck I'll even watch a high school game and I coach youth.

And then there's this...

Looking at getting some more books sometime soon, maybe Steve Belichick's scouting book.

I'm probably not the best person to judge by.

    • Kalkbrenner and Sion James received regular contracts and not two ways, so the Hornets have some work to do to cut the roster size down.
    • Gustavsson would be insane. I think we would have to break the bank to afford that move. Which, I don't think is necessarily a bad idea. Ultimately, Freddie isn't likely to be around more than a couple of seasons more. We can all agree that unless they have a fleet of sports psychologists working on Kochetkov, he will never be capable of getting his head on straight enough to compete.
    • I originally hated the Miller deal but with the cap projected to rise nearly $10M next season the Canes struck some pretty good deals between Miller and Ehlers. Most of the team is locked in for the next few years. Nikishin will need an extension probably in the $6M AAV range. And Blake will need one if we don’t move him. Personally I’d move Blake, picks, and any prospect not named Nikishin/Nadeau/Artamonov for McTavish as I don’t see any any of the big time players moving teams next year. Realistically the Hurricanes should just target Gustavsson next year to fix the goal tending issue. But I’m all for moving Blake, picks, and prospects for McTavish this year. Ehlers - Aho - Jarvis Svechnikov - McTavish - Stankoven Martinook - Staal - Carrier Hall - Kotkaniemi - Robinson Jost - Jankowski Slavin - Miller Nikishin - Chatfield Gostisbehere - Walker Reilly Andersen Kochetkov I’d do Blake, Felix-Unger-Sorum, and 27 2nd for McTavish.
