Would you rather have him on an opposing team in our division instead of with us..

I don't care. The guy had 2 sacks last year. He hasn't played more than 12 games in a season since 2013. Let someone else have him. I don't want to waste any of our meager cap space on a player like this at a position that isn't of desperate need when we absolutely DO have positions of desperate need.

He's 32 so wouldn't help with the youth movement and has only played in 12 games each of the past 4 years. However, with Pep only being rotational I think this would be a huge boost if they could sub in and out for each other.

This. We need to get younger at DE. We are old enough as is.

    • Seems like since Raheem was a defensive guy and the Atlanta defense obviously improved that the team was an offensive coordinator away from being far more competitive. Falcons gonna Falcon.
    • Looking at Scourton Vs Princely stats across the season (and I just pulled these off PFF): Scourton was on the field for 3x as many snaps (717 vs 222) but didn't out perform him by that same volume. If you extrapolate it out then Princely would have had more tackles, assists, forced fumbles, stops and hits across the same volume.  Appreciate it's not as simple as that, but it's encouraging. If he can keep his mouth shut long enough to stay on the team, and continues to develop, that is.
    • agree to disagree you are entitled to that opinion even though I find the argument completely bizarre based on data. I could type out a long paragraph discussing those areas but what’s the point. I posted a screenshot that showed Bryce in a similar post snap situation with a free rusher in his face which resulted in a TD - that’s what happened on the play so I posted it.
