I said Top 25%. Pretty sure that number one is encompassed in there. My argument still holds, he is in the Top 25% of his position group, regardless of draft year, athletically.

You're selling him short though. Top 25% implies 1/4 are equal or better to him physically.

That's like saying Cam is in the top 5 QBs we've ever had. I mean yeah, technically he is, but who the hell are you going to rate better than him?

Checking in before someone says Delhomme is better than Cam

Not odd for the huddle.  Too many here like to be contrarian just for the sake of being contrarian.  Facts and truth don't matter.  I guess it makes them feel smarter than they really are.

The AE project failure aftertaste still present. What was that year, 2012 training camp? When AE did so good, even got praise from Smith and Cam directly, and everyone here thought he was the second coming... only to watch him... never mind. Not comparing the two players, just stating that training camp/ota hype doesn’t always translate into immediate production during the season.

Your backtrack skills are at about a 2/10. Clearly your premise was that Luke excels because of his mental aptitude, in spite of his limitations of “not being the most athletic guy”. Unless you want to keep playing the “literal” card and say that you meant because Luke isn’t actually the #1 most athletic player in the league, that he has to then rely on his mental aptitude...in which case that argument is even more stupid.

Physical assessments don't measure aptitude. Luke isn't the most athletic guy (probably in the Top 25% for his position), but he can make all the plays you can want because of his aptitude.

Luke's combine numbers were better than most DBs

Well, this is a nice surprise since people on here were saying that Samuel's entire career may be over.

That's the huddle.

One poster posts his inside knowledge of how bad the injury was, and that Samual may never be the same.

Huddle swallows the bait even though there was no evidence to support the fish story.

Now that Samual is looking as expected by those with reasonable minds, the rest of the Huddle has to retract their statements.

And we're not even to the worse part of the off season yet.

BRINGO!   the words "career ending" even found their way in the discussion
