Chris Kroeger Named Hornets Play-by-Play Guy

It's Hornets news, but it's also the offseason and I know there was a pretty big kerfuffle awhile back about Kroeger being removed from WFNZ.  Well, looks like he landed on his feet!  I like it.  Seems like a guy who has been invested in the local sports teams for awhile.

The move on WFNZ was in anticipation of this move; not the other way around. Congrats to Chris - he should do a good job over there.

They moved his show in mid-day in anticipation of the hiring.

Yes. The op seemed to be suggesting he was fired or gone. Makes sense now. I had assumes it could have been a response to them just personally wanting a shakeup for the sake of change but this must have been it.

This isn't true. Not trying to be combative and love the work you guys do, but this is not true. They will spin it that way but it's not true.
