What's up with Luke?

I was at the game yesterday and I couldn't tell you if Luke even recorded a tackle. Not once did I hear the crowd yell out "LUUUUUUUUUKE". His play, to me at least, has been a significant step down from what it has been in the past so far this year. Is it Washington? Has Luke lost a step? Is it TD being out? Am I taking crazy pills and it's all in my head?

Anyone else notice this or am I alone in my concern?

I just checked his stats last game. 

3 total tackles and credited with the lone sack of Eli which was him giving himself up after someone else tripped him up. 

Yesterday was not the kind of game we are accustomed to from Luke.

Luke had two tackles a sack yesterday.  Barkley was ineffective running the ball and Giants cause all damage thru the air to their WRs.  I would hope Luke don’t have to cover WRs.  Luke played zone in the middle on passing downs and Giants threw the ball via slant or very deep.

I am starting to feel the same sentiment. Why he called a zone blitz at end the game where Obada drops in coverage to cover Barkley is beyond me.

eric washington has way to much faith in his front 4 and doesnt seem to have a good feel for the game. how many times you going to watch the giants throw slants?

He's stretching himself way too thing with the poor play and scheming going on around him.  Washington has been extremely underwhelming.   It's almost as if the answer if NOT always already on the roster.
