90 speed and especially 86 jumping are both too low. Was Smitty ever caught from behind in his prime? The guy was only 5'9" yet won tons of jump balls in large part because he could jump out of the gym.

To be fair, it is still early in the ultimate team season which runs year round until next madden is released. They have certain numbers capped and dictate the overall speed of the game. For example the fastest player in mut is probably tyrek hill right now with 92 speed.

Yeah and his special catch should be higher. I mean he had highlight reel after highlight reel. Dude even shook off the entire saints defense one game.

I play mut

the fastest guy is tyreek at 92 speed. Like the other dude mentioned

mut ratings are scaled way back.   The best/fastest are hivering at about 92

this is the equivalent of him being 97 speedish which was his madden speed in his prime at the time

I’m not sure you understand what the “Spectacular Catch” attribute means...if that’s your reasoning.

I really wish I could call this guy a idiot because he doesn't understand a reference but I won't.

Let's just say I do understand kid and Smith made circus catches look easy.

    • well i could go on & on but i will just highlight it by saying big difference trust me from the SEC & NFL.it's honestly like comparing apples & oranges especially when you are talking about a  LT. in the NFL you are going up against the most athletic freaks of nature the world has to offer . .the NFL also has much more exotic & complicated defensive schemes than what they are used to seeing at Georgis &  finally but most importantly you have to learn how to master complex bio mechanics where the body kick steps instantly as a reaction to these world class athletes rush without really making a conscious effort it's more of a learned muscle memory  & it can take thousands upon thousands of reps to master rproper technique for a LT in the NFL especially if you are still very raw like Monroe Freeling is    ...just saying
    • All that being the case or maybe being the case, we do not know Wharton’s timetable n the first place. They are being coy about it. Or maybe not. They say week to week the board says he is terminal lol and must be replaced. Who knows? It may or may not warrant a fairly drastic solution.  Walker is a bargain and we are not well stocked at OL despite recent investments. Freeling has yet to have a single padded practice. Too much speculation driving this plan IMO.
    • I would really love to know who’s actually making these moves because it’s weirdly vague who’s doing the hiring and firing.
