He is WAY too valuable to cut, in any instance if he's healthy...I can see many forgot about our DT woes before the likes of Star and KK.

Agree with @The Huddler 100%, we didn't realize just how important Star was to our running game, and KK's production.

Star has done absolutely nothing in buffalo so far, i think he didnt even have a tackle the first 3 weeks. I was a star fan, but from the searching i was doing bills fans have hated that signing.

The Bills aren't the Carolina Panthers.

Star isn't there for tackles, he was there to occupy blockers and keep Luke clean.  Want to know why Luke has looked bad this year?  Look no farther than the DC change and losing Star.

Lol.....definitely more to it than that. Defense isnt struggling simply because star is gone, Star never was a pass rusher and we still suck there. Unless short and Poe  are getting manhandled cant blame lukes struggles all on them....i honestly dont see a issue with Lukes play yet. It seems that every time the other team makes a play everyone automatically looks at him for why he didnt stop it. Luke is not the only player on defense, we need them to step up as a unit.

If we designate him as our 2nd (Matt Kail) post June 1st cut we’re saving 13 million in cap space while only taking on 4 mill in dead money.

He’s definitely worth considering for our 2nd post June 1st designation given the amount of money he is set to make.

Yeah let's add another hole to the roster. We already fuged up by signing Poe, that's who we need to cut if we cut any of them.

Really, Hurney's offseason is looking like complete garbage again and it shouldn't be surprising. Trading for Torrey Smith has been nothing. Signing Breeland without proper research. Taking a big chance on paying Poe that clearly hasn't panned out. CJ Anderson being a non-factor other than costing us a game and having a TD. Drafting DJ Moore only to not utilize him. OMG HURNEY 2.0 fuging fire everyone

    • I do think the rating is fair given how this unit hasn’t proven it with production. I understand you have to rank off production, not potential. However, our unit is also in a position to make this rating look foolish a year from now. We have 4 guys in the WR/TE room who all could legitimately take the next step this year, and catapult our rank. A guy under a lot of people’s radar after we took Tet, Jalen Coker. Mark my words, he will become the star of this room, and be the heir to Thielen.
    • Exactly. You’d think 2-7 wins a year (in a 17 game season no less) since 2017 is going to keep us bottom tier. Every year we say the same poo like we haven’t been a bad team the past 7 years. Until we prove we aren’t a bottom dweller, that’s where we’ll stay ranked. God forbid we have OL injuries like 2016.
    • What I love and hate about this team is it’s more filled with potential breakout players than ever before. JT, XL, Coker, Smith-Wade, Ikem, Trevin… and even Bryce are all guys I could legitimately see taking the next step. But the problem with having so many of those guys is that team success somewhat relies on them taking that step, and some are bound not to. That being said, I’m cautiously optimistic given our softer schedule, the way the offense clicked late last year, and the direction we finally have at GM, coach, and QB. Could see us as a sneaky playoff team.
