They should have a super bowl contest where schools submit a routine that will be used at half time.   A 15 minute routine.  One from College and one from High School. 

Winning schools get trips to the super bowl and a monetary donation to the school music programs.  That would create some incentive to be highly creative.

The schools across the country would seriously have good competition between them and the winner should get to perform in halftime show at SB would be a really good thing especially with their friends and family at home watching their hometown school band performing in the big time.

funny but the only two posts I had to delete were involving your participation.  Usually reporting a thread will help but I was at a wedding till midnight and cooking breakfast for a bunch of church kids from 5-10.  Those kids were a breath of fresh air btw.

not sure if you've noticed or not but the huddle is "lightly" moderated.  I personally think this thread is Panther related due to my plans to attend the SB and because like it or not the Reid signing has our team linked to any similar protest.

But guess what?  There's a cure!  Don't open a thread with a title like this if you don't want to hear opinions about this.

Today's music sucks anyhow.  There aren't many true artist anymore. It is all about the next funky sound and how many cuss words you can fit into a song.   Freddie Mercury said it 40 years ago.  Technology would ruin music.  IT HAS.

 

You sound like someone who just listens to the radio.  There’s a ton of great music to be found regardless of genre, you just need to have an open mind and look for it.

This thread was started in order to stir poo by one of the biggest stirrers on this forum.  And it is not Panthers related no matter how you try to tie it to us.    You as a mod should be able to see that, but apparently you aren't very good at your job.  No wonder the quality of this forum is going to hell.

I suck as a mod, no doubt.  I tried to quit twice but never got an answer  to my work order so I just decided to keep doing it.  If another mod strolls in and thinks it is not Panther related he is more than welcome to move it.  (btw, how come we have no female mods?).  Still of the opinion that the reason she gave for supposedly turning down the gig directly relates to the most controversial free agent in Panther history.  Waiting for you to give a reason why it is not?

It always seems like the contingent who wants to take politics out of sports can never actually do it themselves. I don't give a damn if Rihanna was offered the SB gig or her reason for declining. I don't give a damn who plays the SB halftime at all. I tune in to the SB to watch a championship football game. I don't care about the spectacle. The spectacle is to draw the casuals and non-football fans and it's why the SB is the biggest television event of the year. I get why they do it, but if you're a die-hard football fan just ignore it and watch the game. You have a longer halftime to grill and booze. Embrace it.
