Curtis Samuel is the real deal.

He can do it all. His ball carrier vision is insane and he’s the fastest guy on the field. He might not be a guy who’s going to get you 1,000 yards every year, but he’s a threat to score every time he touches the ball. He’s exactly the sort of weapon we lacked under Shula and Norv knows how to use him and DJ Moore in creative ways.

Players like him are why the future is limitless for this team - he’s breaking out.

I really hope that we're seeing that our offese is best suited featuring CMC, Olsen, Moore, and Samuel with Funchess and Wright serving as possession options. I really hope we don't upset this balance when Torrey Smith is healthy. It's not a coincidence that our offense suddenly became a lot more explosive when our featured receivers shifted away from Smith and Funchess.

not if rivera and co keep finding excuses to keep him off the field. he gets open at will. he could absolutely be a 1000 yard receiver.

x100000000000000000

not only that, he could be our best receiver and a #1 option.

It’s strange how fans can see and asses this while the professionals making millions to do exactly that, don’t.

I was crying about Captain Munnerlyn by halftime today and then Fitz just zeroed in on him and damn near brought the Bucs back pretty much solely by targeting Captian Munnerlyn.

Risk reward is different for a fan. Rivera has shown that he prefers vets over younger players to a fault. That's who he thinks we give him a better chance of winning.

If he puts Torrey Smith back in as a starter, he deserves whatever derision comes his way.

it's not strange. the only difference is that the professionals had the opportunity. not everybody making millions to do something is the best at the job. usually quite the opposite. you think somebody like @KB_fan wouldn't blow away 90% of the panthers staff at analytics?

    • Bryce has been playing the best ball of his career the last three games IMO. He wasn't the reason we dropped the game in NOLA. Seattle's defense will be his toughest challenge yet this season
    • I'll be at the game Sunday and up until last year I had a perfect attendance record. Now however I have seen us lose to the Chiefs (last year) and the Bills (this year). So we can no longer rely solely on my ability to pound overpriced beers to propel us to a win.
    • I haven't been able to watch Seattle on a dedicated basis but the Seahawks are a much better team by the all accounts: eye test, record and DVOA. Defensively they are sick. Best DVOA in the league first in rushing and second in passing. Offensively their passing game has been on fire this year led by JSN I can easily see this being like the Buffalo game where things just get out of hand for us early, that being said this league really is week to week and Seattle does have the disadvantage of traveling cross country for an early game.  If and big if, the Panthers are able to effectively run the ball and limit the amount of time Seattle's offense has to generate explosive plays we have a path to winning this game.  Seattle fans won't be happy to hear this but bad Darnold is always lurking in the background. He is truly an enigma to root for bc he will have an incredible throw that only a few people can make but then will turn around and throw the most bone headed pick of all time.  I think ultimately we drop this one as ultimately it's human nature to be looking forward to that week 18 game. But man how special would it be to be leaving the stadium on Sunday with a win and a miracle dolphins upset
