They run sprints--not more than 20 yards most of the time.  He had run 20 or so sprints before catching the ball.  He had to run 80 yards, SLay had to run 50.

I don't want to hear it.  He's a NFL caliber athlete who specializes in running.  If he can't run 100 yards without slowing down significantly that's a major problem.  Ty Hilton doesn't slow down there.  Julio Jones doesn't slow down there.  You get the point.

Reid is extremely overrated. Still a good signing for what we're paying him and because the next man up is Colin Jones but man he just isn't that good at all. Please do not extend him. Let him walk, look for a young stud safety in the draft, or even go after Landon Collins.

Missing a 34 yard FG is not Cam Newton's fault or responsibility, moron.

The fact that you are trying to stretch beyond all rational thought to make it so is very telling.

The fact that you have to jump to insults tells me exactly all I need to know about you. When you have a O-line that is known for not giving much time to throw, when you get that much time you need to know when to run or get rid of the ball. Normally Cam would have scrambled there and would have gotten atleast the 1st with how much open space was on that side. A missed FG doesn't make up for a bad decision on the previous play. Cam has done alright with what we have had available tonight BUT that was definitely a mistake on his part.

I can deal with us collapsing and missing the playoffs if Rivera is replaced.  Only if Rivera is replaced.  I have always felt that we win in spite of his game day coaching.  Thanks Cam.  Thanks Luke.  I have never felt that he will lead us to a Super Bowl victory.  1980's style football doesn't win Super Bowl's in 2018.  So maybe this season will be his last and Tepper will pull the floor out from under him once its over.  He is mediocre.  Just my opinion.

    • When a team has EXPECTATIONS you have to show them that your fandom and praise is EARNED.  People would be mad if the they lost two one goal competitive games like 2023 but they wouldn't have gotten booed out of the building because the effort and competitiveness would be there but to lose in THAT fashion at home with your entire top line going free lance and saying fug this yeahhh.
    • Well with back to back road games to open the season again we really can't afford a "slow start" at least not for the psyche of the fanbase that is already at rock bottom from years of losing. I think that will depend on our approach to preseason this go around. But I do agree the makings of a culture change could be big for us. At the same time we heard talk of this last year and then we got the doors blown off multiple times. I can agree with you it's best to try to maintain perspective until we get closer to the midway point of the season. The main things I want to see early on even if we aren't necessarily winning is spark and toughness from the offense and defense and at least keeping games close.
    • First goal hmmm im going with Verhague
